Young lady on reception kind and helpful after a couple of bad experiences on the buses (one driver did not tell me about the road changes around Ede hospital where my son was admitted, and the other didnot stop at the stop closest to the hotel even though I had rung the bell, had to go to Renkum and wait 40 mins), first time travelling solo. The room was spotless, separate shower from the bath, water pressure excellent. Just couldn't master the coffee machine, wasted loads of coffee pods. If wandering into the city centre recommend the Bergpad through the woods, beautifully quiet.

This is a very nice hotel in a peaceful location adjacent to a large arboretum with walking paths and varied trees, plants, and flower gardens. It's on a hill overlooking a river valley with splendid views from every angle. The members of the staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. The restaurant is excellent with a varied menu, and the breakfast buffet is likewise large and varied. The hotel has ebikes available, which are nice for pleasant transportation. It's close to bus service, which is how I arrived from and departed to the train station. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is a lovely hotel, re-furbished - I have stayed before but this now looks and feels very elegant indeed with great views over the Rhine. I visited on a very cold few days and it was still lovely.

When the staff rented out the bikes, it was fantastic to have so many e.bikes ready to borrow at a fair price. However, if you have never used one of these bikes before it would be good to have simple instructions or ask the staff to help. It was like pulling teeth to get some assistance, and once I had the bike I enjoyed every minute. It takes a few minutes for staff to explain the bike shed location (inside door not the outside bay), the battery, the lock and the adjustment of the bike. I had to figure it out after two or three attempts - and I have borrowed these before. So please assume that everyone needs a bit of help and if they don't that is fine.

Very nice hotel, great building in a peaceful wooded area with beautiful views. Great value for money. Would certainly book here next year again.

The first thing you see in the great entrance hall of the hotel are some "fruitmachines", the ones you would expect in a very poor snackbar and certainly not in the lobby of a nice hotel. Instead I would prefer en nice lounge area with some sofas, plants and maybe a fire place so the clients can read a book or have some conversation. That is really the only thing that's missing in the beautiful hotel.

The location, most of the facilities and staff. Room was spacious with comfortable Bed.

Lack of transport accessibility. The place to could do with some Taxi arrangement that guests can book for transport when need to go out. There was no Ironing facilities in the room and no one showed us where we could get one. Socket points were unfriendly to us coming from Britain so we could not charge our phones.

Room was spacious and clean. Views from the dining room were great. Location would be great if I wasn't travelling for work.

Upon arrival just before midnight, it took some time to find someone to let us into the building despite there being a storm outside. Bicycle rental would feel much better value for money if a multi-day deal was offered. Also, a more affordable non e-bike option would be great.

Hotel in beautiful surroundings in the forest, close to public transport. The fitness room is extremely complete and surprisingly free to enter.

Staff were not always eager to help, check in slightly earlier was possible but only after insisting to ask if the room was ready. The hotel charges a lot extra for the sauna, and is overal quite expensive. Room had a bad small from the sink and had silverfish throughout the room. Cold in the room, but they did give an extra duvet on request.

Great location, surrounded by woods, very quiet and clean. Wonderful view, very good breakfast, polite staff. The room had facilities for coffee and tea. Clean bathroom with large shower. We appreciated the free parking. The terrace with views to the Rhine was cosy and relaxing.

The mattress was old and in very bad condition and I didn t sleep well. I mentioned this at checkout and they took note in order to replace it.

I booked one hour before checkin and unfortunately my room was not available. However, I got an upgrade. The facilities in the room were great. Also the breakfast was of very good quality. The area is very quiet and beautiful.

The breakfast was of great quality, however there was no complete English breakfast available (eggs and bacon, but no beans..)

Our room wasnt cleaned very well . Doubtful if the floor was brushed during our week's stay. Cleaner didn't leave tea facilties for several successive day. In an hotel of this standard I would of expected proper cups in the room not two paper ones . Your hotel is not Mc Donald's
