Location was central. Short walk to sea and grocery store. Strongly recommend the early morning markets (not Monday) Pre booked parking available though on two days we had management take our parking. Staff helpful arranging rental car after a mixed up booking. Close to central markets and the tourist booking sites. Wi Fi great. Staff really friendly and helpful (most spoke English passably) - put up with my school girl french. Very clean. Breakfast good. The set breakfasts were larger than we needed so ability to pick and choose helped. Not a resort facility but for the basic comfortable service it was very good.

Very easy location in the city, close to the bus stop, ferry, taxis. Guys from reception were very helpful with us.

Staff was wonderful, the suite 636 was comfortable, clean with a nice balcony with city and ocean views. The breakfast was healthy and more than we could possibly eat. The concierge service was amazing! The location was good, only 8-12 mins walk to the markets, city touristic places, good restaurants close by, and 8 mins drive to the most popular beaches. I will definitely consider to go back to this hotel.

The air conditioner wasn't strong enough for the size of the room.

The location was central. For one person, the room was fairly big. If you arrived early, the hotel does not offer you a room until checking time. Not sure if I got the room that I did reserved. I noticed that if you do your reservation with Booking.com -at any hotels- they always give you the first o second floor rooms, never in the upper floors.

Breakfast was not included. One morning I took one, and for what I paid, is was not worth it One of the cleaning ladies tried to be funny, but she comes across as mean

Good location (there’s tons of cafes and restaurants close by the hotel. McDonalds was also just down the road, everything was walking distance), the staff were very friendly and helped us booked transportation when needed, the room was clean and bed was huge and very comfortable! TV was also big (which was nice as we brought our PS4 to be able to watch movies).

Unfortunately, the air-conditioner and ceiling fan in our room barely worked. The weather during our stay was SUPER hot and humid, so it was really disappointing and a bit frustrating that the room aircon and fan didn’t do much to cool us down. Had to rely on opening the windows and the breeze.

Basic city hotel, however we had the place on the top floor and it looked over Noumea which was amazing. It was a beautiful way to start the holiday with a balcony! The room had a little kitchenette and a divider between the bed area and the bathroom area. The staff were really lovely, and so were the other guests we came across. Hotel was very central.

The bed could have been more comfortable, but was what you pay for in a budget hotel.

We stayed twice during our visit to New Caledonia, in total, 4 nights. We wanted a hotel in Noumea that would allow us to explore the city before our trip to the Isle of Pines. Gondwana Green was a great find. It was small but very clean and comfortable. We could walk to most of the city centre and had access to the local buses. There were numerous local good restaurants and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. English speaking staff were always available. We would certainly recommend this hotel.

Hotel Gondwana is a great option if you want to stay in town as opposed to a resort. We were going to resorts later so wanted to be in the heart of things, close to the markets etc and it delivers on that. The room is small but well appointed and it met our expectations considering the price.

This hotel is super convenient in location. We were able to walk or bus everywhere we needed. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. Rooms were large and clean and housekeeping cleaned them daily. Tea and coffee was provided along with a jug and small fridge.

Only con I could mention is that the shower in my room wasn’t that great. The shower head was right up at the ceiling and couldn’t be adjusted and it pointed directly into the corner so you couldn’t get your whole body under the water at once and had to stand up against the tile which I didn’t really like as I didn’t want to be touching the walls of a shower other strangers used.

The location in down-town Noumea couldn't have been better. It was perfect for access to the Port Moselle marina (where we were chartering a catamaran) and buses, the morning markets and the Carnavale held on September 10th. Having a microwave in the room and cool filtered water available on each level was also much appreciated.

We liked everything about the hotel, other than the floor in our room being a little sticky on our first stay on August 26th. It was not an issue on our second stay for two nights.
