Delta is one of the best motels I've stayed in for some time. Despite being on a busy road there is good sound proofing. It is rare to find an information folder in your room these days but Delta provides comprehensive information about all manner of things, not just relating to the unit but other useful info. A great selection of quality teas are provided plus extra touches e.g shortbread biscuit. Minimal cooking facilities, but more is unlikely to be needed for those travelling. Tiles in the bathroom have underfloor heating - great when tripping to the loo at night!

The only negative was that while the unit could sleep three people there was only two sets of crockery and cutlery. But I sure they would easily remedied if necessary.

This is a excellent hotel with the kindest, most thoughtful managers. The garden apartment was roomy, ultra clean, beautifully equipped, and had plenty of thoughtful touches and extras. If you are transiting through Christchurch airport, look no further, this is a great value for the money, it has a complete kitchen with coffee, tea and milk provided, it has a roomy bathroom and closet, it is close to lovely Burnside Park. It was a true respite for we weary travelers, and we were aided in every possible way by the fabulous managers, Paula and Phil.

We arrived late at the airport but the booking in arrangements were fine when we arrived at the property. Very comfortable room. Prompt shuttle back to the airport next day.

The front taxi (a G taxi) wasn’t prepared to take us. Said it was too close but I wouldn’t want to walk with all our bags. Gave us BS about a shuttle. Asked another taxi further back in queue. He took us.

The receptionist was lovely and welcoming and it was an easy check in. The 2 bdrm apartment was lovely and clean and a really nice layout with a good kitchen facility. The motel is very handy to the airport which was also a deciding factor for myself and my colleagues who had early flights to catch after our stay.

We booked a room at the hotel simply to spend the last night of our holiday near the airport. We were not expecting much but it was a really great place to stay. Our welcome was wonderfully warm and helpful and the room had more than we needed, including a lovely spa bath and very comfortable bed. It was amazingly quiet given the location and we slept so well we were ready for our early start the next day. The shuttle to the airport the next day was exactly on time and our driver so friendly it took the sting out of having to get up so early to catch our flight! We have already decided to stay there again when we return to Christchurch in a month's time.

This was a one-night stay close to the airport to make it easy to fly out in the morning. Our expectations were not that high, but this one-bedroom apartment was excellent. Very clean, good facilities, and above all, what we assume were double-glazed windows clocked out any road noise resulting in a very quiet room. The courtesy shuttle to the airport was very handy.

Nothing really

The unit was amazing. Comfy bed and everything we needed for our two night stay, incl. coffee, tea, hot chocolate and cold milk for the coffee. We arrived after reception hours and self check in was very easy. The owners of the hotel was so helpful with everything and even drove us to the place where we would pick up our campervan. will definitely recommend this place to everyone.

We love staying at Airport Delta on our way to or from Australia. The rooms are quiet, beds very very comfy, showers hot and much needed and lots of options for hot drnks to wake up to.

This was probably the best property we stayed at in our 6 weeks of travelling it had everything we needed and more. It was clean with ever fertility you needed from sky tv to a towel set a side for taking off make up. The owners didn’t miss a thing and they were always on sight with a smile. I can’t recommend this Motel any higher, well done team and thank you for the perfect stay.

Bed was a little too soft and bouncy. Shower should have a bigger door/cover to prevent so much water spraying over bathroom floor
