The whole experience, first time in Christchurch in support for our 16yrs old son's college, son was under the college group booking, my 15yrs old daughter and I was a separate booking made 6 months ago, as soon as we found out where the 3 days Annual NZ Secondary Schools Athletics Championships was held and the son's college athletics team was staying. We spent most of day(s) at the Athletic park (Nga Puna Wai Sports Hub) about a 10mins drive to the park. Arriving back to the accommodation tired from a full on day to discovering our bath towels changed, along with the tea towel & kitchen cloth. As noted in their room folder if you wish to have your bath towels changed to leave them on the bathroom floor, I am that person will reuse the bath towel twice then have it changed, so we hung our towels on the door / chair in the room, so you can imagine our reaction to arriving with them changed was nice - on top our 16yrs old son came away with a gold medal and personal best in his High Jump of 2.02 metres =) Enjoyed our comfy and clean stay for sure, car parks available for the rental car, as we travelled from Wellington, next trip to Christchurch will definitely return - Thank you

We were satisfied with our stay, nothing we did not like to report.

The Spa bath, It had Sky Tv,Movie channels, Children's channels. Lovely Receptionest and Cleaners very understanding. Clean and Tidy rooms. Great selection of Coffees etc....Loved the Art work.

Needs more modern feel and it will be the best like counter tops, different wall colour maybe?. Carpet looked and felt terrible. My Queen bed was two singles would pref. A actual queen bed. Overall still had a good stay. Thank you's so much.

The reception lady was very polite and fantastic to speak to, our room was good smaller than we thought but still good few minor issues but that's okay we did enjoy our stay thank yous.

Not much that we didn't enjoy, a few minor areas could be cleaned more such as we used the pull out couch and there was crumbs under the sofa, the screw came out of the bathroom window latch which is a easy fix.

overall quiet and comfortable environment. Even though it is located on the side of the road, there is no excessive noise disturbance. Room very clean and bed nice for rest.

Bathroom no dry and wet separation. After taking a shower, the wet floor will not dry easily and it will be easy to slip, so must be careful. Beside that, pillow a bit soft for me.

A pretty simple motel but offers everything one may need for a short stay. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We asked for a cot in advance and it was all set up and with the linen when we arrived (those travelling with kids know that this is not that common for some reason). We also were offered breakfast that was included in the fee. The motel isn’t too close to the city centre but sits right between the city centre and the airport so it’s quite convenient if you’re leaving early morning.

The room (its lounge area) was a bit small for 5 people and quite dark but we only spent a night there so that wasn’t really a problem.

Good location to the University and Riccarton shops. Handy to get out on the main highways north and south as well as the main park and city centre

To be fair to the hotel it is being re furbished and they are doing a great job. No real down side. Had no mpact on my stay at all. I only mention it so it comes as no surprise if using my review but no doubt will soon be complete

The receptionist was friendly, very polite, very helpful, greats you daily when ever you see them, the room cleaning staffs were very friendly and helpful. Clean very well.tidied the bed well. Cooking facility was excellent in the room. almost your own kitchen utensils. walking distance to shops. Place was quiet and peaceful.

Nothing to not liking except the washing machine takes long time to wash and the dryer too.

Staff upgraded our room as the original bed was too soft for us. Ended up being a bigger room. All in all the staff were amazing and willing to help with anything. Very clean and tidy, can't fault it. Would definitely visit again

Some beds may be too soft. Best to ask first to see if your preference is available

Location was perfect for what we needed. Host was pleasant and helpful. Washing machine was free which was great for washing footy kit as we were away at a tournament. Unit was clean and tidy - we were running short on time in the morning and ran out leaving dishes (was going to do them when we returned) and the cleaning crew washed them for us. much appreciated. Boy loved having sky to watch footy 🤣🤣

Sky TV not linked to bedroom. Carparks were very tight. Shower had very little pressure.

Lovely motel - room was really clean and had everything I needed. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet. Lady at reception was very friendly and welcoming. Continental and cooked breakfasts are available. Also there was Netflix. Excellent location with a bus stop right outside. Good value for money.
