there’s nothing not to like

excellent and very friendly staff, place is clean and have everything you need for a short comfortable stay. location is great with shops a close walk to and the f you have a dog like me, a park is just beside the motel so super convenient for walks.

Netflix on the tv would be great (I didn’t try the wifi though which is free). shower is a bit on the short side and I’m not a tall person by any means.

We are a family of 3, travelling with our dog and this place suited us perfectly. Added bonus, the motel is just next to a big park and therefore was good for morning and evening walks with him. The unit is well equipped, clean, tidy and the rooms are spacious. Situated on main street but was quiet and driving distance to attractions were close to it. Wylie at reception was very welcoming and friendly.

We were greeted very warmly, We had an extremely comfortable suite, a nice surprise as we had not expected so much space. As it was close to the main road we thought it might be noisy, but this was not the case. The motel is situated close to the main area of town. Our host left a delicious breakfast in our frig, far better than we have had on any of our travels. Not being used to a TV we found if very straightforward to use, and were able to get BBC to watch the Queen's funeral. We would stay again and defiinately recommend it to friends.

We love the location and the size of the unit. We appreciate having a couch and a dining table. The host is a very friendly person and had lots of special ideas.

It is getting a bit tired looking. The couch is very low and uncomfortable. We have stayed before a couple of years ago and nothing seems to have been upgraded.

Great location, friendly staff. We even got an upgrade with spa bath. We enjoyed our one night stay, should have extended but nil vacancies 😜, we’ll return when given the chance 😍

Unfortunately the microwave was not working, but all good we still have the pan to heat our food, since we only have a night to stay, Informed them , they kindly offered help if we still need to heat up anything😊. Other than that everything is excellent 😍

Very clean room, clean bedsheets, towels and furniture. Bed is nice and comfortable. Would be even better if there is electric blanket . Location is convenient and centally located to the city center and other sights, easy to find and return to. Nice hospitality touch from the hostess who gives baked muffins and dark chocolates upon arrival - thank you :) Little kitchenette and supplies of tea bags, coffee and chocolate drink for a comfortable stay. TV has all the channels :)

Stated in booking there was electric blanket but there wasn't . No stove top.

Brilliant friendly host, he was a pleasure to deal with, made our stay very welcoming.

We booked the unit with the spa bath. Unfortunately there wasn't enough hot water to really enjoy it. It may have been because it was a busy weekend and the previous guest used it. Not a complaint though. We would definitely still stay again if we're in Oamaru.

A simple, clean lovely motel which had great facilities. The room was large and had everything we needed. The hosts were lovely and even gave us homemade muffins as a welcome. A large supermarket was close by and the walk into town took about 20 minutes
