Room was clean and had a door that opened to a garden. The room had two single chairs which was nice to just sit and relax on. There was a table which we used to work on our laptops. Bed was very comfortable and we had no problem falling asleep. Clean, warm and beautifully presented. Location: Love the fact that it is located opposite the Queensgate mall. We were able to just walk out and cross over to the mall for shopping, and to catch the movie on Saturday.

The staff are great and what really make this place. It's also in a great location.

I was disappointed the hotel didn't have a fitness center even though it has one listed on booking.com. I travel a lot for work and always pick a hotel that has a fitness center. Also a microwave would be handy to have in the room. Otherwise, the hotel is great.

The room is very spacious. The bed is firm and very comfortable. It's just been renovated, with a new carpet, and a new bathroom. I like the French door that gave access to the car park without going around through the corridor and reception area.

My wife would have preferred a bigger mirror in the bathroom or a big dressing mirror somewhere in the bedroom. Also the TV though it is well positioned on the wall, a bigger screen would be better and would match the status and size of the room

Front Count member was very helpful and friendly on arrival, offered to change my room which I was grateful for. I cleaner saw me having difficulty getting into my room and assisted myself which I was thankful for. Room was up to standard and comfortable. Seeing it’s over the Christmas prior your staff did a great job.

We had a function in Petone so the location was ideal, plus a short, easy stroll to Queensgate for shopping. The room was a good size with all the amenities we needed, the shower had goid pressure and the water was hot. Would stay again.

We had a problem with the card for entering the room, but the reception staff were able to sort it for us.

The Angus is perfectly sited next to the Mall and not far from the Hutt Hospital. The staff are exceptionally nice. The room service was great and I’m sure the restaurant would be too. Can’t say enough about the staff though - so lovely.

Everything the service all of it including Mr Pickles. Thank you for hosting my whanau and I over the weekend. Would recommend anyone to stay. Didn't mind stripping the room.s down for the cleaner at all. Was our thank you from my family to yous for the great stay we had. One thing dishwashing soap to wash the cups n sauces and a dish cloth would be great. Thank you.

The location was great and close to the hospital. The reason for our stay. The shower was a generous size and the water pressure was amazing. We were greeted to a nice warm room on arrival.

The bed was a little small for two but comfortable. Road and street traffic were quite loud during night.

This hotel is a great place to stay, close to anywhere you want to go.my husband and I had a couple of great evenings here, in the bar with the locals and lovely food in the restaurant.totally recommend a stay here in the beautiful hutt valley.
