Lovely crisp and clean room - compact but well-designed; also freshly refurbished and redecorated. All day tea and coffee in the light and airy dining area - and cake in the afternoon! The evening meal was also included and was good. Great location in the heart of Grimstad. I was given a room overlooking a quiet side street - away from the lobby area. I enjoyed my stay : )

Loved the little town of Grimstad and the hotel was lovely with very serivce-minded staff. The parking was available and easy to find and that everyone was so nice and helpful. We ended up driving to Kristiansand and visit the amusement park (dyreparken), which as a ton of fun and affordable when the drive from Grimstad is a mere 40 minutes. Thought the breakfast was rather good and really enjoyed their good selection in fruits and veggies :D
Would've liked air-con in our bedroom as the fan we got was way too noisy even on the lowest volume and the window were freakishly close to our neighbour. We had rooms with a view of the rocky hill behind the hotel and guests could in theory jump out and walk over to their neighbour's window. I didn't quite like that and due to this didn't want to sleep with the window open. Also thought the breakfast buffet was a bit crowded considering the covid-restrictions and didn't like that so few used a mask when it was impossible to keep appropriate distance.

Very modern hotel with unique features. From the outside it didn't look that exciting but on the inside it really impressed us.
