The location was brilliant for my son and I as we had to be in Stavern early the next day. The centre of Kongsberg is within walking distance. Although it was a hot day (28 degrees) our window could be opened widely so we slept well. The receptionist was extremely pleasant and gave us a great tip where to go to bathe at a lake. (by car) The breakfast was buffet style with a very large selection. Several types of egg, bacon, cereals including gluten free cornflakes, veg and fruit and different sandwich toppings. Juice, milk, and free coffee and tea at anytime in the reception area. Note you have to put on your own bed sheets on and deliver them in reception on departure, but who can complain for the price! Fridge and freezer in the kitchen with small baskets to place your food in. Skateboarding area right out front of property and climbing frame area too. Free parking.

If I were to be picky there could have been a plant based alternative milk at breakfast, but there were so many alternatives I skipped cereal.

The first impression of the reception was that we were greeted by a friendly woman, as if I had come to my grandmother's house, she explained everything, helped me with the phone charger.

There is dust on the ceiling, I think it hasn't been cleaned for a long time :))

Very good hostel with a nice location. Excellent breakfast.

The tv did not work in one of our rooms. After showering the entire floor was wet in the bathroom. It is an expensive hostel and we paid less for an average quality hotel in Oslo.

A nice hotel in a good location. The people working there were very nice, the breakfast and the room were good. 

The only point of improvement is thay in my room (21) the Wifi signal wasn't the best. I kept losing connection, but it was usable.

Nice and comfy room and bathroom, free parking, close to the city centre and the motorway, helpful and lovely staff. Clean and big kitchen where you can prepare your own dishes anytime you want. I think that the best part of our stay there was the breakfast - it was one of the best in my lifetime. There was a variety of hot and cold dishes and drinks. You could even prepare your own waffles ;) We had a wonderful stay here and wouldn’t hesitate to come back here next time.

Very close to the centre. Quite are with a playground in front of the accommodation. The personnel was very helpful. Breakfast with broad chooses.

A bit older equipment. When the neighbours are noisy you can here everything.

I missed vegetarian options for the hot food; it contained either egg or ham. Also price could be slightly less for what it is.

very good hostel, i go there often since the only affordable accommodation in Kongsberg. good rooms, very good breakfast, common kitchen and living space available, all perfectly working

it is a hostel, not a hotel… good service but price is high for european standard

Nice place, very clean. Did not use common areas and kitchen, but looked good. You are supposed to make the bed yourself, and then deliver the used linnen in the reception. It was fine.

They don't give you a bath mat along with the towels. I stayed 3 different places in Norway and none of them did. Maybe it is customary not to.
