Breakfast was good! Love the room.

If hotel is having large group of people same time, they should get two people to work in reservations. Big group didn’t have to wait and theirs manager did get over our turn. When we did get the check-in, we did have to wait elevator 0,5 hour. All this ( just check-in ) did take over 1 hour. You don’t have slippers or the jacket after shower. Even that was listed. I was trying to get messages from them, they didn’t answer at all. Finally i did get answer after two days our drip, it said “.” Even answer “sorry” should be normal behavior.

You can see the northern lights from the terrace at the sky bar. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious and has milk options for every diet. The view from the room was amazing. I requested a north facing room and they gave me it - it was lovely to wake up to the mountains illuminated pink by the sunrise. There were seven (!) power sockets beside my bed and the bathroom had a heated floor, the temperature of which is changeable. There is a heater in the room which worked very well. Very clean room and comfortable bed. The room looks exactly like it does on the website. The staff are friendly and hard working. I needed my coat dry cleaned and the cleaners had it for longer than expected but the staff called them to ensure it would arrive before I left Narvik, and when it arrived it was in excellent condition. The location is good; a short walk from both the train station and bus station and some good restaurant options nearby and some shopping centres, alongside routes up the mountain and a park.

The restaurant doesn’t have many options and you can only get food at the Sky Bar on a Sunday (other days it has tapas only). There is no menu in English in the restaurant, which wasn’t a problem for me but could be if you don’t know Norwegian food names (though I’m sure the staff would be happy to translate).

Comfortable beds, huge shower. Excellent, abundant hot and cold breakfast buffet to serve all tastes. Staff were welcoming and professional. All facilities excellent and spotlessly clean. The 360 degree views of Narvik from the 16th floor roof bar were a bonus. Only a 15 minute walk from the train station or 5-10 minutes from the bus station.

SmartTV was too clever for me. I couldn't work out how to cast/stream from my phone to it & there were very few TV channels. Pre-installed Netflix would have been good to have (guests could log in using their own code)

The building really stands out as it is right at the centre of Narvik and next to the museum and souvenir shop. The standard room was typical Scandic quality, in good condition and there was more than enough space. The breakfast was as expected.

The receptionist picked up the phone to answer a call whilst serving us during the check-in so the welcome wasn't the warmest. Felt a bit under-staffed as well as on check-out there was a small crowd waiting because the staff was having a break and only one person was working at the counter. No express check-out.

Exceptional Hotel. The views were phenomenal, especially from our 9th floor room. The room itself was top-notch. Great Breakfasts. Paid Parking is cheap and easy. Right next to Scandik Narvik. The top floor Bar/Lounge is out-of-this-world awesome. Drinks and chill and soak in the otherworldly views. And the skiing at Narvikfjellet is like nowhere in our varied ski world.

We had a Perfect Stay...

location and breakfast was amazing along with free coffee and tea during the day the view was fabulous but because the sun was so hot had to keep the curtains closed most of the day to keep room cool as no aircon

no aircon and the room was very hot and stuffy with only one small window being able to open they had fans but were all allocated so we couldn’t have one

The staff was great. After an overbooked hotel left us checking into a standard room although we paid for a superior one, the housekeeper made sure we had robes and extra towels and the front desk person who checked us in made sure we received a comped dinner. So a less than ideal situation was solved with a personal touch.

The beds were older and I think it's time to trade out the mattresses.

Beautiful property. I was put in the fifteenth floor (was even asked whether I'd like to be put in a high floor), which gave me a great view over the city. Awesome breakfast as per usual.

If I have to name something, it would be that parking isn't free. However, parking is conveniently located right underneath the property.

Personal at the reception was very friendly. On my request, I got a room with a perfect round-view in the 15th (uppermost) floor. Hotel has a large storage room where I could also leave some stuff which I did not need on a hiking trip. The Bus from/to the airport stops directly in front of the hotel.

The great room with the perfect round-view on the 15th floor was located directly beneath the bar on the 16th floor - I had to sleep with ear-plugs.

That's a great hotel in the center of Narvik with very kind and helpful staff. I had a clean and very comfortable room with beautiful view (if you will be lucky, like me 😀, you can see a Northern Lights while you sit on your bed 😀, or much better right outside of the hotel). Breakfasts was delicious, with fresh bred, fruit, cakes, vegetables and waffles. I realy recommend this hotel.
