Lovely friendly staff team. Great communication beforehand. Absolutely fabulous historic old hotel full of incredible quirky and original features. We ended up in an upgraded suite which was amazing - original old furniture - and had a VERY comfortable bed. Less than 30 min to airport next morning. We left too early for breakfast.
Only two things. 1. Plastic plants in the room looked out of place and were dusty. Not needed. Bin them. 2. We chose to have dinner. It was “sold” to us as a buffet. On the day there were so few people in, that it was table service instead. This meant we didn’t choose the amount of food we were given and found it to be far too much. We couldn’t finish anything, and we hate food waste. They need some serious portion control I think. They could easily factor this in by saying usually it’s a help yourself buffet, so how much would you like, and they could offer second helpings?

The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed excellent, noise free sleep quality. The breakfast buffet was most excellent with many options to choose from
The buildings and grounds in state of decay and in much need of renovation. The driveway and parking lot were full of huge potholes and puddles. The kitchen was closed for dinner due to staffing issues. 30 minutes to and from Harstad for a decent meal. No TV channels…somehow had to connect your phone and use apps to watch your own programming

It’s a great location. We only stayed for one night - and was fine for that. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable Good water pressure. Plenty of parking. No staff around when we arrived but we received detailed instructions in advance of where to find keys so that wasn’t an issue. Didn’t eat there but breakfast seemed nice enough. Some lovely rooms and hallways with period features.
It’s a little run down In some places it’s charming but things like broken tiles in shower weren’t as nice. I wouldn’t let this put you off though. It’s a great hotel near the airport at a very decent price.

We had a large room with very nice view and comfortable bed. All was clean. The breakfast was excelent! It was very quiet (also depending of course on the other guests).
There was only a bath with shower head, no seperate shower, so if you wanted to take a shower you had to sit in the bath, otherwise everything would be wet. Also there was no tea/coffee maker in the room, only a kettle in the hallway with instant coffee to share with the other guests, which was not a big problem, but it would have been nicer to have a coffee machine and kettle in the room.

The property has many buildings, including a spacious and cosy restaurant by the water with fishery decorations, several options for accommodation, a sauna, leisure places, a large garden to walk around and plenty of space to park your car. We stayed in the main building which looked like a former mansion with large, tall wooden doors and a lovely traditional design. The rooms are well equipped, with warm, heavy curtains to block the midnight sun. There were coffee, tea and a kettle down the hall. Many thanks to a very welcoming and friendly personnel. Good breakfast included.
We loved everything about this place. We recommend.

A "quirky" old fishing wharf location, with several buildings making up the accommodation. The staff were excellent, with an extremely helpful manager, who gave us lots of tips for the rest of our visit to Lofoten. The food offer was very good. The breakfasts were excellent and there were very good value for money meals in the evening. The salon attached to Room 302 was amazing. About 30 minutes from EVE airport, so very handy.
We had forgotten just how expensive alcohol is in Norway. A single glass of red wine (volume unknown as it was just poured int the glass) was about £12. This mouthful wine just about covered the bottom of the glass.

Breakfast is really great with nice selection, also a nice selection of tea 24h, beautiful hotel with nice atmosphere (furnishings), close to the airport (1/2 hour) so it's great to start your trip to Lofoten here if you arrive late
I didn't know that I had to inform them two hours before I want to use the sauna. It's not bad but it would have been a great if I could have used it in the evening after my arrival from the airport :) Another thing was, that the doors of the shower don't stop all the water, so parts of the bathroom get flooded.

An unusual and “quirky” hotel that took a while to “understand”, but once the set up was clear it was a really interesting stay. Genuine 18C buildings have been converted to hotel rooms and some of the fishing barns converted to accommodation for groups. Accepting the challenges of staying in such historic accommodation, our stay over three nights over a 10 day period was really enjoyable. If a lightbulb doesn’t work - it’s all part of the charm. Our private salon was amazing 😊 Excellent staff and a good “home cooked” buffet evening meal was great value, especially for Norway.
Nothing really.

We booked a 1 night stay there since we had a 6:30 am flight the next day out of EVE airport. The type of room we booked was a Junior King Suite with a Sea View. The view surely delivered. We opened our windows and enjoyed the views in our nice and big comfortable room. Reception was in one building and our room in another build. Parking is nearby. There is a lot at the entrance. Be aware though there is no elevator, just stairs. The person at receiption was friendly and nice and since we were checking out early offered to pack us a breakfast bag which was really kind.

My primary reason for staying at this location was because of the hotel's close proximity to the Hardstad/Narvik, Evenes Airport. However, the classical vibe, insanely friendly and family-vibe staff, cozy atmosphere, superb nature all around the property, and the vibes in general really made me feel as if I chose to stay here in general just for a night. The hotel has a historical venetian style appearance (Could be spooky to some :p), where there's the main building that is a reception + cafeteria, and then you have separate big houses that are divided up into cute hotel rooms. The rooms are spacious (Literally as if you have a room in your rich grandfather's country family house), clean, and have exactly what you need.. The dinner was also super tasty and family home food style! Loved the buffet, also its for a great and affordable price compared to quality and quantity you can serve yourself, and the Argentinian family staff were just so adorable (God bless their souls)... Hope this info's enough for you. I feel that for the region itself, this selection is the best option for you.
The bathtub is an antique, which is annoying and complicated to shower in + no curtains and proper separation which makes it easy to shower the bathroom floor with you :). However, the toilet is clean and practical apart from that! I also struggled to find a way to put on hot air from the AC unit, or to find a way to heat the room properly; however, I was half asleep and lazy when I tried to do that, so I am sure that this could have been resolved by a quick inquiry... No really serious negative aspects to my stay tbh!
