The room was well organized. I had a small kitchenette in a closet sort of container. Well stocked with cooking items. The hotel was located about 15 minutes by walking from the Stavanger downtown / harbor area.

Very difficult to communicate with anyone. Tried to call - but couldn't understand the prompts and ended up talking to the receptionist in Oslo. I sent an email requesting that the room be cleaned. I was informed that I sent the e-mail to the breakfast department. Was told that cleaning the room was not possible without a extra charge. Because it was a long term stay (8 days) cleaning was not provided. I paid full rate for the room cleaning should have been included. There were not cleaning items in the room (e.g. broom, dust pan) and I didn't bring any cleaning supplies with me. A pre-made breakfast was delivered for another guest one morning. It stayed in the hall way for two days. You are pretty much on your own at this hotel. No real oversight of what is going on.

lovely reception, fresh bread and great restaurant with lovely food and friendly stuff. Really nice neighbourhood, the room was spacious and clean. Overall my complaining is minor things, easily reparable if the owners wished to.

For some reason there was a shower gel but no shampoo, towels were "tired" and super small, in general the splendid comfort of the restaurant doesnt follow into the room. The breakfast start late - for someone who wants to go hiking and we couldnt buy a sandwich before 9am. The breakfast option are also a bit weird (there is no normal hotel breakfast option, but only them bringing a bag to your door in the morning). I am compaining for the sake of maybe giving few ideas for improvement, because the place is worth it.

Clean room and quiet (good wall and window isolation). It has a kitchenette with a dishwasher which was great. Room was great overall, and convenient that there's a restaurant in the same building. -- It's close to a really good Asian restaurant. And the AIRPORT BUS stops right in front of the building!

The location was a bit further out of the city area, and the apartments are surrounded by quite some ugly buildings that block an otherwise beautiful view. The CHECK-IN process was horrendously slow, and I doubt if someone like my mother would be able to successfully go through: while a digital check-in system is completely fine, this one had extremely slow connections and difficult menus to go through. And there is no reception personnel to assist.

The fact that you have everything you need in a studio flat. It is clean and the views are amazing (we lived on 5th floor). They have an incredible restaurant on level 1 that does plenty of pastries, food and great coffee.

I don’t like the fact that during your stay no one comes to clean the rooms. We had a room booked for 4nights and we had to clean the room ourselves. We were told we had to pay extra for someone coming in to clean the studio.

Receptionists were very friendly and helpful. It's fast to reach the city center. The view from the window was good (we lived in corpus B). There is everything You can need in the kitchen.

The fridge was very loud and was beeping. Funny, but not comfortable issue: if You need to use 2 or more jacks to charge Your equipment (phones, etc), 3 lights should be on in the room. If not - one or another jack are not working. So You can't sleep without light and charge phones.

The room was full of handy stuff - bowls and plates, cooking utensils, oven and grill, dishwasher, sponge and dishcloth. There were scissors in the drawer which were so handy, and an iron and ironing board as well as a desk fan if needed. I loved the deep bathtub and great water pressure, and the room was easily controlled by thermostat and by opening windows when needed.

We had a lot of trouble when we checked in understanding the 'apartment a' and 'apartment b' sides of the building - the signage could be much improved on this element. As the check in was automated we didn't have a person to ask as there wasn't anyone!

Room was spacious and clean. Loved all the different restaurants and food on the first floor of the hotel. The staff was friendly and able to help us. Parking was provided in a paid for garage. Internet was fast and I was able to take video calls without and issues.

It was a 10/15 minute walk to the city center. But we knew that while booking for not an issue. I can see if someone is looking for a hotel in the middle of Stravanger it was be an issue.

The hotel has its years but is very well run. A big plus is any time check in and out because of the vending machine. The system itself works flawlessly. Staff available on the phone and via the website - very helpful. The hotel is located very close to the historical center and the bus and train stations (all within a 10-minute walk). Ideal starting point. Also close to many restaurants in all price ranges. I didn't use the breakfasts but I know, they are delivered by a local subcontractor to your room door. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds, very well equipped (oven, sink, coffee maker, kettle, crockery). Large bed and very comfortable (soft mattress). Cooling and heating centrally controlled but ok. Bathrooms finished from 20 years ago but with high quality materials - still look ok despite the years. At this price I recommend because of the location, spaciousness and cleanliness.

Most rooms are exposed to the south-west. During the (long) days the sun makes its presence felt. The curtains deal with it moderately, there are no blinds or roller blinds. You can also feel the traffic when the window is open, moderate noise level.

We loved the interior decor of the apartments and building generally. There is a lovely bakery downstairs and the apartment comes with a fully equipped kitchen for all your cooking needs. Location is okay, albeit for some people who don’t like walking it may be a bit further out.

There is no reception desk, so it is confusing when you arrive, as to how to check in. Also on check out we wanted to leave our luggage as our flight wasn’t until late in the evening and we had a day trip planned, so had to check out early in the morning, however as there was no staff around (although we did ask the cleaners and others in the building who weren’t able to assist us), we had to call another hotel who kindly let us leave our luggage in their storage room for a few hours. This was very inconvenient and stressful, so I would recommend having a 24 hour reception desk, as this would improve everyone’s experience.

The apartment was expertly furnished for a small space. Very clean and modern. Access to a free washing machine for clothes was spectacular (just bring your own detergent). Easy to get to. Parking garage right next door. Cafe located onsite. It had a portable fan that was very appreciated!

The check-in process is an automatic system, which is very convenient, but it would have been nice to have someone to talk to in person should we have had any questions. The onsite restaurant is not affiliated apparently and they weren’t very friendly. Also, although it didn’t bother us, the hotel is about a 10-15 min walk from the port. We enjoyed the walk but if anyone needs a closer site, they should keep that in mind.
