Friendly staff, good location, free coffee near the reception desk. Room was clean, well prepared. Rich and tasty breakfast, with a lot of options. Good enough sound isolation. Comfortable shower cabin.

The shape of our room (#5308, but there are few the same) was in shape of some triangle, and it was not great. This made the size of the room seem small. also because of this, the TV was placed on the side of the bed, it was uncomfortable to watch. The bed was softer than usual in hotels. In general, there was not much space to put the belongings.

The position is at 10 minutes walk from the main bay , but it's still in the city centre. All around there are thousands shops, bars, pubs. Also it was very well connected by bus. Room was big enough for me alone , with also a sofa. I loved the gym. Breakfast was like an Italian wedding, there was food for every taste.

Well, probably the gym needs a little revamp: some machines need to be fixed a bit more and I think they also should be organized differently.

The location was very good about 20minutes walk from town and harbour. There is a bus stop right outside of the hotel if you prefer. The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of food. The reception lounge area was very nice and comfortable with free coffee making facility. The restaurant was extremely clean , and spacious. There is a gym available. All the staff we met were very nice and friendly.

If you are vegetarian you may notice there is not much fresh fruit available for breakfast.

Beds were a bit too soft. Parking is very expensive. Not really the hotel's fault (they hire parking spots in the commercial parking garage below the hotel), but still one of the more frustrating aspects of travelling through Norway by car.

We had a family room with a bunk bed, it was a small room but everything was in very good condition, clean, and quite comfortable. I loved the underfloor heating in the bathroom! The entire bathroom looked nice, clean, and light. The mattresses on beds are middle soft. The breakfast was tasty and there were enough tables for everyone. The hotel staff was smiling and friendly. A bus stop is right in front of the building - it was so easy to get to the hotel.

The window view was to another room. It would be ideal to have a fridge in the family room.

I’m born and raised in Stavanger, but now live abroad. So it was nice for me to be a tourist in my hometown in this hotel. Good location, although parking is naturally limited. However, Jorenholmen parking is just a 5min walk away. Super good breakfast, my boyfriend said it’s the best breakfast he has had in Europe! He is well-traveled and works in the hotel business, so his words have some saying.

I can quite easily get cold, so my only issue was that I found the room cold with very little ability to change the temperature. The air quality is amazing, but I wish I could have turned off the ventilation at least when sleeping.

The hotel was great. Reasonable price for good comfort. Rooms was simple and confortable. Good beds have nothing to complain on. Available parking on site - perfect. Breakfast keeps Scandic standard - rich in choise and spacious eating area. In one word - perfect.

There is nothing to complain about.

a bit costy, the early breakfast option on the day we were leaving was not good, the vegetables were not fresh and not edible

Breakfast was wonderful, good choices of items, very tasty! Room had great views of the neighborhood. The hotel is located on a busy main road but we had not trouble sleeping, it was quiet.
