We liked the cozy living room, the convenience to the airport (only about 9 minutes away!), and the decor of the rorbu. We also loved the wood stove (although there were only two small pieces of wood available). The bed was comfortable. It was a lovely stay for the night

The shower leaked pretty intensely all over the bathroom floor. I also would have loved shampoo/conditioner in the shower, and more wood for the stove than just two small pieces. For the price of the room, it seemed a little strange to be required to do quite a bit of cleaning prior to check out (dishes, trash out, removing all bedding).

love this place and really has a home away from home feel!

Supermarkets are in the city center hence far from where we are staying. It is a little inconvenient to carry your shopping all the way back to the rorbuer especially when you have a bridge to climb! I stayed at the unit atop the hill hence there is a flight of stairs leading to our rorbuer which I need to climb. Not at all conducive for big luggages during the winter season!

Great location, clean and spacious apartment. Their staffs were amazing. We arrived after 4pm but did not have an issue checking in. Their staff was really friendly and even suggested an amazing walk before we go for dinner. Dinner was really nice, they even have a course menu which was not on the online menu. The icing on the cake was that they even called Avis to help us check if we can drop off our rented car in the city center (instead of the airport) on a wet and rainy morning. That really made our day as we could then wait more comfortably for the Narvik bus in the city centre instead of by the road near the airport.

The property is centrally located on Lofoten. The cabin was spacious with two bedrooms and a small living, dining and kitchen area. Property was clean. We were able to park close to the set of cabins right on the water. Beautiful views and 2.5 hrs away from Å.

Property was more of an Airbnb than a hotel. Provided minimal items for the kitchen. Had to buy some essentials like salt and paper towels. Also had to clean the property and leave sheets and towels by door. Not a big deal, but definitely not a hotel. There was a consistent smell of sewer gases coming from one bathroom. This is very American of me but a TV would have been nice to have in the room. Especially for extreme weather days.

We enjoyed the privacy, peace and quiet in our little one bedroom cabin. The fact that our cabin is well equipped and allowed us to self cater easily was another plus point. We also had fun walking around the Svinoya island. And most importantly, we were in awe of the excellent service provided by the manager of Svinoya Rorbuer, who gave us a lift in his car to the airport when our taxi failed to arrive on time and we had to rush to the airport. It's service like this that warms the heart and makes us come back again!

This place is located in a idyllic place with breathtaking views, if you are lucky and you get an aurora it will be the trip of a lifetime, I recommend it 100%. In general the lofoten islands have won a place in my heart.

We arrived late and check-in was a bit chaotic as there was no one to assist us, luckily the taxi driver knew where the keys were kept if the reception was closed. A prior notice with this information would have been appreciated. Otherwise perfect 10/10.

The cabin was great! It was a great size and very comfortable. It was great to have a room to spread out more than a traditional hotel room. We will stay here when we come back in the summer. We had a great dinner at the restaurant at the property.

The ice on the pathways was very slippery. It would have been nice if the staff spread a little more sand & gravel on the paths. There was a container full of sand & gravel at one point, so we ended up sanding the path ourselves.

The breakfast was sparce for the $$. But what was there was good. Our cabin was clean and comfortable. Your location was great.

There was not a porch light, which made it difficult to unlock the door. Had to use flashlight on our phones. Could use brighter lighting in the living room. A book with local restaurants and tours would be a nice touch.

The location was exceptional, with a brilliant outlook over water and being at the end of the road there were no passing vehicles. Beds were comfortable and well placed to enjoy the view outside. Room was dry, warm and quiet, with a good size clothes hanging and luggage space and a compact ensuite.

Ensuite was perhaps too compact, with little shelf space and awkward ergonomics over the sink. TV didn’t really work, and may have had an electrical fault as unplugging it stopped safety switch #4 from tripping. Curtains could have overlapped better to improve keeping the sunlight out at night.

The cabin was cozy and we were kept warm despite the windy storm that night. The kitchen was well equipped with clean tools. Its location in Svinoya made it really convenient to take a stroll around the island with amazing views in sight.

They didn’t respond to our Booking.com message at 7pm when we enquired about late check-in as underestimated the drive from Tromso. Fortunately the restaurant was open for us to pick up our keys at 10pm and we checked in smoothly.
