- spectacular view and surrounding - amazing balkony and the room is of a good size - friendly staff going out of their way to make you happy (special thanks to Mr. Rasheed) - no beach, but sea access for the brave ones - quiet and peaceful (we extended our stay and will come back) - good Internet connection - nice towels - super clean - great karak at breakfast (without sugar) - great outdoors sitting area of the restaurant

- batroom is really basic (shower is super tiny and it feels even smaller when they placed a shower curtain inside it, I did not feel comfortable) - small water pressure in the toilet (room 303) - bed was a bit too hard for us (personal preference) - food in the hotel is so so (better to have dinner at their sister property in Khasab) - no shop/restaurant around the hotel, having a vending machine would be useful Tips for the management: 1. Vending machine at the reception 2. Placing furniture legs protectors (you always hear your neighbours above you) 3. Enhancing the pool area by adding live plants and replacing the plastic sun beds with higher category ones

Excellent location overlooking the mountains and the sea and only a few mins from Khasab Harbour. The breakfast spread was very good and the rooms are a great size.

Some elements of the hotel are a little dated e.g. there's no shower cubicle, only a curtain which means that the bathroom floor got very wet. Some of the rooms have interconnecting doors however these aren't soundproofed and we could hear the kids from the family next door from 6am in the morning. The pillows were also a little on the soft side for me.

The hotel is ideally situated, right on the coast, a little way from the town and port. The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The swimming pool is a generous size and there are great views from the sea-facing side of the hotel. The breakfasts are up to a good standard, with a reasonable selection of things to eat (apart from the lack of gluten-free bread).

The only downside is the limited awareness of gluten-free dietary requirements but this is the usual scenario in Oman.

Location is convenient, especially if you're planning to do the zipline. and it's nearby a very nice public beach. Staff is always very welcoming and nice, I haven't had a problem with any of the Atana hotels so far.

Not much to be honest, I like the hotel, but I would like to request that 2 people can handle the check in process especially around the check-in time as it always gets busy, after waiting a bit a second person came to help but they had to handle a big family so I had to wait again, not a complaint just a minor comment everything went smoothly after that, as usual.

Will be honest that facilities we booked were not suitable for us at all. We booked 2 twin rooms and got them somewhere far , needed to walk under the heat or up- down via hotel to reach reception, restaurant and pool. We traveled with infant. It was really disappointing to receive such a room in such a distance from main facilities ( also it was dark and with parking view instead of mountains). But thanks to staff they assisted us with much better room, inside the main building . This room was really beautiful, with 2 huge balconies overlooking the sea,spacious for us 3 adults and 1 infant. Beautiful beach in few min away from hotel , with crystal cool water. Breakfast was good, but I would prefer pastries to be more fresh and better variety of fruits. Parking had enough slots and we always managed to have shaded place, even hotel was fully booked during our stay. Location is good, close to port, some places to have dinner. In general we enjoyed our stay

The facilities itself are outdated and could be renovated, to be top one place in Mussandam. Children playground is full of rust, dust, too warm pool, cooling system would work great and keep hotel guests at the pool in summer , which is way beneficial for hotel. Just my thoughts. The room service was overpriced for its quality.

Great hotel overlooking the sea. Good facilities and nice restaurant. The room was big and clean with enough space for everything. The swimming pool really appreciated (a bit too hot… but the heat was so high it couldn’t be different)! All the staff was really nice and helpful. Free shuttle for the airport.

Just one note: it was impossible to get the fan option of the AC to a real low (or even to ‘no fan’) without switching out the entire unit.

Everything was good about this hotel - its unique location in north Oman, the outstanding scenery, and the exceptional service. The food was excellent, the staff assisted with dietary issues, the pool was good, and the hotel room perfect. Everything we needed. And the attitude of the staff could not have been better - so welcoming and helpful.

Great location. We travelled during Ramadan and the hotel still provided dinner and breakfast which was a bonus.

The coffee war rather on the weak side - and I am not super particular about coffee. They did make an attempt to provide a stronger one, but there was not much of a difference. Although we learned later from other places that seems to be what "Omani Coffee" is about... Check-in was a bit of a lengthy affair. Perhaps also owed to Ramadan as we arrived just after sunset and there was only one person at reception.

The location is perfect, and most rooms have a beautiful dramatic view of the bay where you can see the fishing boats and jumping fish. Both mornings we were there we spotted dolphins. The breakfast was good, and best enjoyed outside on the terrace this time of year. All the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The furniture and the fixtures in the hotel are a bit basic and dated, and the shower was small (again, a bit dated). Outside, the artificial grass by the pool should be replaced. Despite these things, the views from the hotel made up for it.

Excellent hotel, on arrival the guy at reception was very friendly, he helped with luggage to our room, made us feel welcomed and happy to answer all queries, room service available until late, the restaurant and staff were excellent, fresh local fish, hamburgers and delicious soup. Very nice view of the mountains and the sea, we were given a nice room with balcony at no extra cost. the swimming pool area is lovely with fantastic views next to the ocean. A nice public beach next to the hotel, free parking available. breakfast was good, you can seat outside by the swimming pool and enjoy the views in the morning while having breakfast, I would definitely recommend staying here.

There was family with kids next room to ours, they were making noise late at night, toilet had a small leak.
