This camp is an amazing location and consists of a number shipping containers converted into cabins. Our cabin was pretty spartan, but it had everything we needed, and even a shower (with good water pressure!) and a toilet. We brought our own food and grilled it on the barbecue right outside our doorstep - please note that there is no food available in the camp, other than what you bring (or order with them ahead of time, but even then you have to grill it yourself). The cabin was super clean, and even the barbecue was in great order including the grill grate, which was as clean as new. The location and the views around are something else. The hiking trail we needed started straight from the parking lot of the camp, so it was absolutely perfect!

The staffs were all great, a few of them I can recall, like Wendy, Gabriel and Tim, if I'm not mistaken, our rock climbing instructor.. All friendly, accommodating, approachable and helpful.. The camp is great. Well maintained.. Air-conditioned .. The bbq place is also amazing.. my first time to lit a charcoal for bbq so it's really great experience.. One must try any activities before leaving the camp. I can see that sometimes this place is better than some hotels. If you are looking for some new and challenging experiences this is the right place for you. I highly recommend it to friends. And for sure, we will come back again ...

The only thing that was not organised properly is the delay with the booked food for bbq as dinner and the breakfast. But anyways still OK hence, next time for sure we know what to bring to eat..

Location is ideal for outdoor adventure and Jebel Jais zipline. Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. A well organized self catering, glamping experience. Description is clear on expectations and this is followed up by the staff prior to the visit (ie, it is self catering with private BBQ facilities and use of a shared galley). Receptionist was very helpfull (to the point of letting me have some milk that I forgot even though it is not available to buy). The site is very quiet with no noise at all due its location and having a telecoms mast nearby the wifi/phone signal is excellent accross the camp. Many activities available onsite (however I stayed as I was heading th the zipline) and many walking trails so it is very easy to get away from the hubub of the city.

You have to be a little carefull carrying the collapsible boxes of crockery as they collapse easily. As it is a BBQ self catering camp, I think charcoal BBQ should be included instead of having to carry charcoal around. Would recommend taking a mosquito spray. My room was mosquito free when I arrived but there were a couple in the room by 2300.

Surprise: there is no breakfast and no lunch and no dinner. Normal if you see the setup of the facilities BUT maybe emphasize more on the website: a warned visitor will prepare better

The room was surprisingly clean, and the staff was prompt with their cleaning service. The barbecue and bonfire facilities were excellent. The accommodation is located just a bit ahead of the Hidden Oasis parking area, making it very convenient for travel.

It would be better to have a sign on the roadside about 2 kilometers before the entrance to indicate the upcoming destination, as it’s currently easy to miss

Great location and facilities, next to the hills and Jebel Jais. The staff was very helpful with hiking in the area. Facilities were great and room very comfortable.

The menu to get food is slightly overpriced. But if you ask in advance you can make a choice to buy food before you get to the campsite.

Everything was great but I think they can do more with respect to food at the property. Also, they only sell water and soft drinks and can expand that to sell a few more snacks / quick bites. But, if you go prepared it’s a lovely place for a unique stay in the mountains.

Staff especially Ms. Akhila who accommodated us and was very pleasant to deal with. We also love the soundproof trailer. Bed is comfy. Bathroom stuff are all working and clean. Outlets are working too. We didn't encounter any issues in our stay.

The only improvement I could suggest is putting an illuminating signboard entrance. As it was quite difficult to locate at night because the jebel jais track was very dark.

We specifically went with the purpose of cycling Jebel Jais. With this in mind Bear Grylls is the perfect location. On arrival we were pleasantly surprised by the facilities and container/accommodation unit. You have everything that is required from aircon, shower, beds to your cutlery/crockery...basic as it may be. Bear Grylls is for those who like the outdoors, if you are a mall person, stay away!! Highly recommended for a weekend getaway to experience something totally different.

A great overall stay. The accommodation is simple but comfortable. Exactly what you need. The open fire pits were perfect - sitting out under the stars amongst the beautiful mountains. The food we ordered was great and the staff very friendly and helpful. We had a great hike the next morning too - leaving from the camp. I'd highly recommend this to others.
