Hotel located in central area, walking distance to Near the busy shopping streets and restaurants. And very near to main two tourist spots (10 Min walk) of Lima – The presidential palace and the San Martin Square. The panoramic and best beach area of Lima – Miraflores – is a one-hour drive from the hotel bus stop near by – Bus No 301 – from Bus Stop Avenida Tacna 565. Wi Fi is connecting good. The hotel staff speaks good English and was helpful in guiding the tourist spots / How to Get Metro Card, to Travel by Local Metropolitan buss and arranging the Taxis to and from Airport. The breakfast dining room is good with transparent roofing once side, much natural light.

Breakfast is simple (not a big spread) , but yet sufficient for clearing morning appetite. Cannot get the breakfast items as ready serve always. Once you come in the dine area, have to wait for items to be cooked, and filled in the respective hot boxes. Quite an Ala Carte – method, Ok, but have to spend a long time to finish breakfast. As the room is facing Main Metro Street , there is always a bit of Vehicle movement noise, have to manage this.

We had only one day in Lima so we decided to stay in the historical centre instead of posh Miraflores. We liked that it was so close to all the sights. The beds were comfortable, room was clean and with a classic layout, toiletries were good. We had to leave before breakfast. The check in lady was extremely joyful and kind.

We use good air plugs so we had no issues but some rooms face the busy street and it can be noisy. The hotel has a “no deliveries” policy that we did not know about since all over the world deliveries are okay (even Manhattan NYC). In the end it worked out but it caused me a lot of unnecessary anxiety to have some simple delivery accepted by the hotel. I’m grateful they did but be aware that this hotel is special and they don’t allow.

I took this hotel for less than a day as I had many waiting hours between two planes. I chose this hotel because I could see it was at walking distance from Lima's historic center. The location was really great, as it allowed me to visit the main historic places and still have some time to rest in the room, comfortably walking for and back without having to take transport. The hotel personnel were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The taxi service organised by the hotel to pick me up at the airport and drive me back to it was very professional. The room was comfortable, modern and clean. I recommend this place to stay in Lima.

Hotel DIAMOND was our first place in Peru after our arrival, it was cool to land somewhere. Room was clean with a HUGE bed (2 meter wide!) Personnal was kind as well. There is an elevator.

For the breakfast, there is no buffet.. a women from the hotel asks you what you want and then brings it but you dont really have the choice... There is also no cold water available. As tourists we would have liked to have water from a sealed bottle available (all the tourists only drink water in bottles in Peru..) The location is central in Lima (close to historic center) but SO NOISY ! the windows dont bring any noise insulation. You dont want to open the window either because of the air pollution...

The hotel is quite nice and modern in a very central location, five minutes away from the main square of the city. The room was spacious and had all the necessary facilities. I couldn't hear any noise from the neighbouring rooms and warm water was permanently available. The breakfast was good and enough to make you full. The staff members were very helpful and accommodating. They helped me with arranging for taxis to and from the airport and prepared me a breakfast to go on the last day, when I had to leave very early. I was also able to stay a bit on the premises of the property when I arrived very early on the first day.

The hotel is placed on a very busy street in the city centre, which means that you can hear noise coming from the traffic until very late in the evening. During the night it's relatively OK, but don't expect a very silent place. The breakfast is not served as a buffet, but I was satisfied with what I got.

We stayed in La Suite for our last night in Lima. Everything was perfect. The room was spacious and the layout perfect, with little sofas for chatting. The whirlpool bath was perfect! The bathroom also has a walk-in shower. A little surprise: a bottle of wine was waiting for us, along with two bottles of water. It's true that the street is noisy, but with a pair of earplugs you won't hear a thing. I had a very good night. The staff are very friendly and many speak English. The hotel is very accommodating. In short, I highly recommend it!

Nice, clean, modern room and facilities (my room is on the same floor as the breakfast area). Convenient, only 3 minutes away from a Metro supermarket, 10 mins walk to the plaza/Cathedral, 15 minutes to SF Convent. Nice and accommodating staff. AC in room which would be helpful during the warm months.

Just the nature of the location -- it's located on a busy metropolitan street C de Cusco, so traffic and honking from the cars below permeates through the double glass door and if you've difficulties to sleep, take that into consideration or ask for a room facing the other way. I myself enjoyed watching the traffic and people on a bus stop right across the street.

The hotel is in the Magnificent location for touristing around downtown Lima. Supermarket a couple of doors away shops just around the corner and all of the historical sites within the easy walking distance. They help to organize a taxi from the airport late at night ahead of my stay which was really handy. Breakfast was basic but Ok and the bed was very comfortable. Great shower too. By the way Lima comes alive after 4:00 p.m. there is markets and Streetside shopping it's full of fun. Hotel diamond is so well situated that I stopped multiple times during the day for toilet breaks and refreshments that I had stored in the fridge.

The only downside is because it's on the Main Street you'll start to hear the traffic. I didn't mind because I wanted to get up and get all my things but if you're looking for a sleep in probably not the best place for you unless you've got ear plugs.

Location was great right in the historic centre of Lima. It was very clean and modern. Hotel has a login for netflix on the telly and a fridge in the room.It is Near sights and bars and restaurants, hotel and area felt safe for tourists. The hotel stored one of our bags for about 10 days while we went to Cusco, free of charge. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Javier who organised a quick taxi for us to the airport when our booked one failed to show up. Allow an hour to the airport, traffic is mental.

Breakfast is OK but only OK. Beds are small. Street noise.

Within walking distance of the historic quarter of Lima. Reception spoke really good english and were really helpful when we arrived later than expected. emailed very bluntly said they don't do gluten free option for breakfast. Our room was a typical large hotel room. everything was clean and the beds were comfy. The shower had lashings of hot water - also soap/shampoo and clean, white towels were provided. Breakfast was only OK - juice was watered down so hard to tell what it was, coffee, tea, fruit, bread, eggs as desired, tiny amount of ham & cheese (2 small squares of each).
