I made the right choice booking Bentrina Diving Resort for our son's intro dive. The prices are reasonable, the rooms huge, the lay-out pleasant, the food always impressed and had large portions, the staff very friendly and responsive. There was free coffee and tea 24/7, and a massage can be arranged by staff. The pool was perfect for learning and practicing diving skills, and the instructor very polite and calm. The reef right in front of the resort made it convenient for snorkeling and an intro dive.

There's a steep, narrow road leading to the resort, which could be a problem for some drivers. It didn't bother me that there's no hot water, but some might have an issue with that.

Fantastic crew! Very friendly people who make you feel at home. They were eager to help out when we needed anything and always willing to give all information we needed. The location is also perfect, not far from Batangas and the coral reef is just 30 meters from resort. Nothing to complaint about😎

We liked all. If we were really to put something to improve on it could be refreshing bathrooms (maybe considering repainting, better ventilation) though it wasn’t anything that we would complain about.

Quiet and beatifull resort with just 6 spacious rooms with very confortable beds. Friendly staff who's able to inform you and help you plan activities. Fair prices on the activities and rentals, we never felt we're being ripped off. Very good food in the restaurant, the best we've had in the area. Amazing coral reef just in front, more colourfull and alive than other places nearby (like Sepoc beach). Overhaul a great value for money, specially when compared to the 3x more expensive options just next to it. It's not super fancy, but for the nature around, that's all you need.

Breakfast is basic, which is not a big problem, but could have some fruits.

I liked a lot of things at Bentrina. The staff are so nice, helpful, and communicative. Our room was huge. The wifi was fast. The balcony was spacious. The view was superb. The AC worked well. We came here to dive and Bentrina was equipped with everything including our dive master, boat, and equipment. Apart from the complimentary breakfast, we were able to order for dinner too — a plus since the location was quite remote. They were also nice enough to give us an extension because our dives finished past noon and they allowed us to shower before we could pack and go.

Things that are beyond Bentrina's control: It was tricky to get here with the steep road. We also came during the Christmas holidays so the karaoke parties of the neighbors were non-stop.

Excellent calm location. Gorgeous sea view, which you can observe from your room, from the swimming pool or from the little garden. Hearty breakfast and dinner a la carte. There was also an Italian restaurant in a walking distance. Nice helpful personnel. AC worked as it should.

No hot water in the shower. Not a problem in this climate though.

Good location, waterfront, nice pool, very friendly staff and willing to make the stay very enjoyable. Good spot for shore diving, in conjunction with the adjacent Philpan Diving Resort.

Staff were super friendly throughout and our room was great! There is a reef right in front of the resort that has a pretty good variety of fish and coral for snorkellers to see. The food is decent - there are a couple of resort restaurants nearby if you want a bit of cuisine variety (a bit more expensive though). We did a couple of scuba dives with Myzon as dive master. He and the crew were great. Highly recommend a boat dive as there are amazing open water spots all around. The rented gear was decent and did the job. The dive sites were amazing. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We were lucky the weather held up and there were a few other travelers at the time that were also keen for a good drink from sunset til the morn :D exceeded our expectations!

The dive master's scuba cylinders kept blasting out air during our surface interval which was concerning. Faulty O rings apparently. Dive master reassured us that it was alright after he fixed his. Thankfully no incidents underwater!

Location and view was fantastic. Sinigang was delicious!

Water pressure was non existent, and only cold water. Cold didn’t bother me, but it was hard to have a shower with only a trickle of water coming through!

Great location. Nice pool. Friendly staff. Tasty food. Diving guide was awesome.

We were the only ones there so we had to buy the whole boat, Pay for the guide, and his tanks. Not what we expected from the website pricing. But the diving was great

Awesome spot by corals. There are rent of all necessary equipment.. for diving and snorkeling and even kayaks. Super tasty and fresh food in restaurants 😋 Salamat po for your hospitality.

If you are on the car, the road to the hotel a bit steep. Not bad.just something to be considered On the main road there are paid parking 200ph per night just in case.
