Everything! Unsure why the previous reviews are not so good, this place should be a minimum review of 9. Every feedback they recieve, they have continued to fix. No hot water- plenty hot water now, no water pressure or condiments when showering- all there and fixed, limited breakfast- now there’s 5 choices, ants in room- don’t leave ur window open and food inside. They even have a nice tv and 2-3 beds with so much space. Of course it’s not a 5 star place, but so worth it. The staff helped out so much, when I needed early check in. After long flight and late check out also after being late from seeing the dr. The staff is amazing, and I really love this place and will be back. Annoying how other people giving it harsh reviews, better then stay in a 5 star hotel and pay $500 a night.

The place is simple however pretty clean and well maintained. The front desk staff are also very helpful and happy to assist with any questions you may have. The bed is comfortable and they have hot showers available which I have found to be rare in the Philippines.

The area where the hotel is located isnt the best and late evening it isn't advisable to be walking around. However hotel staff seem to be aware of this and are constantly checking on guests and who enters the property etc. I checked out quite early in the morning and the security guard was quite helpful and insisted on waiting with me until my Grab ride arrived (and also was insisted to make sure I took the right cab too).

The room is large and comes with toiletries. It has hot water and air conditioning. The staff are very friendly and always greet you with a smile. The breakfast is decent, offering several options to choose from. They even have hot chocolate as a drink choice. Our favorite was the waffle set. The local residents nearby are friendly and simple. The internet speed is average, which might be a bit challenging for video calls. Overall, the value for money is high. It's not expensive per night, but you can stay comfortably. You can pay by card, but the method is a bit inconvenient because there's no card machine. You need to make the payment online through the internet.

The room doesn't have a safe, and the lighting is rather dim. There's no water dispenser in the room, but you can fill up from the kettle in the lobby. Just be careful not to take too much, as it might run out.

The room was a good size and very comfortable. Much better than many we've stayed in in Cebu City. We were able to order food to be delivered to the hotel, and ate in our room, which was very convenient. Had a very comfortable night's sleep.

We arrived in Cebu City on a busy Friday afternoon. Traffic is always bad there, but this hotel seems to be in a location which is hard to get to from the airport. However, going to the port the next morning was easy and quick. Hot water would have been nice, after 30 hours travelling, but it's not something you get very often in budget hotels in the Philippines, so not unexpected.

This is the best place I have stayed in , in Cebu, I've stayed in over 20 hotels this past five month's. It's very clean , pillows are clean , bed is very comfortable, hot water everytime pressure is great . Good wifi , good variety of channels all with good reception. The breakfast is exactly as described. Staff are very accommodating, wishI had found this place earlier. Much appreciated thank you.

There was nothing to dislike

Conveniently located for what we needed. Staff was great about accommodating our early morning departure.

It was a heat wave and the air conditioning had trouble keeping up, which is to be expected. But because of the requirement to put a key in the slot to provide electricity, when you leave the room the air conditioning goes off, as expected, but because of the heat wave, it takes so long for it to cool down the room. And it felt like it never was cool enough throughout the night.

The bright spot is the staff. They are eager to help. One hundred peso or less taxi ride to SM Mall, Robinsons Galleria Mall and Robinsons Fuente Mall. Plenty of carendarias are nearby. Massage can be found nearby. ATMs are also close. Located near Mad Monkey without the frat party atmosphere. Free Netflix.

Cafe choices for food were limited and some of the items on the small menu were not always available. Their Wi-Fi is set up so that you have to input a new code every 24 hours. I can understand why they do this...it's just annoying.

I like that they offer complimentary breakfast and with lots of options. My room was clean, and perfect for a solo guest. The staff are friendly, approachable and helpful! Location is also good!

Coffee was a bit expensive - P50 per glass, when this was just freely supplied in the last hostel I checked in prior here. Also, i suggest they improve the exterior of their place, so it's easy for guests to find their place. Even taxi drivers aren't familiar of the place, because their sign isn't that easy to find/see. And the gate looks very ordinary, no paint at all.

We liked our stay here very much. The location is perfect, walkable distance to many food places. The best thing was that we could use the hotel as our base throughout our journey on Philippines (coming from islands and flying to another ones). We could leave our bags there for days for free and we felt it was very safe there. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was simple but yet delicious. We could even order some food via Grab and eat it in the lobby. The possibility of late/early check-in gave us a lot of flexibility. Each time coming back there felt like coming home :) The rooms are very spacious and clean. The toilet and the shower are separated with the shower curtain, so nothing gets wet while taking a shower. The internet was fast.

The faucet was a bit loose so we needed to be very careful by turning on the water, but the pressure was great.

I initially booked for just a 2-night stay through Booking.com, but I felt comfortable with Palazzo so I decided to stay there (instead of another hotel) for 3 more nights. Value-for-money. I love that the hot shower was always available, and toiletries (shampoo sachets, small safeguard soaps, and tissue rolls) were provided. Room was clean, secure, spacious, and bed was comfortable. There was no problem with the Internet connection, and there's Netflix, among others, on TV. They let me bring a thermos from the pantry, so I could have hot water in my room any time (for my instant coffee and instant miso soup). The last 3 nights, I got the affordable room package that included the guest's choice of breakfast-for-two with coffee, hot choco, or juice -- but since I was in Cebu as solo traveler (for university fieldwork), I had one at 7 am and then had the other one at 10:30 am as early lunch (and manang Lotlot would even bring them up to my room). Also get The Freeman newspaper daily for free at the front desk. Commute with jeepneys/vans/buses (62C if going towards the Magellan's Cross/Basilica area or 13C if going towards the Parian area or University of San Carlos Museum area, for instance) passing by Echavez street, which is where Palazzo's front side is. Exit at the back on Sepulveda street and there's a small turo-turo restaurant nearby serving local favorites, such as the spiced fish tinola and spiced fish nilarang or larang; there's also a small sari-sari store, where you could buy snacks and bottled water. The Parian area and the old heritage house of Yap-San Diego and Casa Gorordo are just about 5-minute ride or about 15-minute walk from Palazzo. Staff is pleasant, courteous, and friendly, willing to assist in every way -- thank you so much Shella and Ahnna! Palazzo also has a simple lobby with a happy and colorful setup! All the best to Palazzo, keep it up!
