The staff and the room were amazing! Very hospitable and they left us gifts when we arrived!

The location is on the beach where all the boats pick up tour guests - so there’s not really a place to enjoy the beach as the water is quite murky. Wouldn’t go swimming in the sea here.

Breakfast was delicious, we loved the restaurant location and pool view from the beach! From the moment we arrived we were in awe! The welcome drink was a nice delight. The room has everything you need. The AC works great! We had dinner twice at the restaurant and it was amazing! The staff is so kind and responsive. We cannot wait to come back! Daily happy hours were a treat. The staff was knowledgeable and gave advice on activities. Quick trike ride into town. Very quiet and peaceful place to stay!!!

The villa is reasonably large and has almost everything you need. The only thing I didn't like was the dark interior, which made the rooms feel quite gloomy even with the lights on. Breakfast is the same every day, but you have the option to choose between 3 types of breakfasts, each with 3 variations. Regarding the beach, there really isn’t one. Due to the high tide and low tide, even during the short period when there is a sandy strip, it’s so wet and hard that it’s impossible to use as a beach. The staff is very polite and always ready to help.

The biggest problem on this island, and not just here, is the numerous stray dogs that roam everywhere, mainly along the so-called beach strip. As a result, the area is littered with dog feces, which is extremely unpleasant.

Awesome location on the main beach and where tours A and C can leave from. A good range of restaurants nearby, so no need to go into El Nido. The rooms are very Philippines, however comfortable, and in a cool boutique (7 Villas and 3 other rooms) resort. Breakfast was good. I wouldn't come to the Philippines again, but if i did, we would recommend El Nido and probably stay here again.

The only thing i think could be better, other than significant capital to the rooms, is simply asking the staff to acknowledge the guests as they walk around the place. Its really basic, but someone saying hello when they walk past is really pleasant.

The staff was exceptional. Customer service is just of the highest caliber. The resort has this peaceful vibe that we were able to really wind down and relax and just have an amazing experience. We had such a lovely time that we decided to extend our stay. The property is beach front and a perfect spot for dining and just relaxing by the pool side. El Nido is just beautiful. 6 days is not enough to see everything. My experience with this trip has re-ignited my love and appreciation for the Philippines. The locals are just naturally kind and beautiful people.

We had a great time at Last Frontier. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and attentive. The villas are spacious and also have a nice porch to relax. I just loved getting up in the morning and walking straight from our villa to the beach to look at the water or having breakfast at the small restaurant. Breakfast is a la carte with 5 options to choose from. Some tours even do pick-up’s at the beach in front of the hotel which is indeed convenient, but be prepared to get wet right away. We preferred the location a bit out of town and it was just a short tricycle ride or even manageable to walk in 20-25 minutes. I would definitely stay here again.

This is truly one of the best places I've ever stayed in the Philippines! The customer service is exceptional—every team member goes above and beyond, and they all deserve a raise for their kindness and dedication. Situated away from the hustle and bustle, this hotel offers a peaceful retreat. I’m so grateful we chose to stay here; I can’t imagine dealing with the noise from motorcycles and clubs in the town center. Instead, we enjoyed lounging by the pool, watching the sunset, and observing the fishermen as they went about their daily routines. We stayed in a villa with a beautiful balcony, which added to our experience. I celebrated my birthday here, and the surprises just kept coming! I was treated to pancakes for breakfast, they also gave me a cake (complete with candles), and a (surprise) birthday gift. Everything about our stay was lovely and made my birthday celebration truly unforgettable. Thank you to everyone for creating memories I will cherish forever.

Hotel: It's a great secluded property. Only 5-6 units so it feels private. Filtered water available at the reception area so we used that to refill our water every night. Room: Excellent. It had mosquito net for the bed but we didn't need to use it. Breakfast: Just okay. Restaurant: Happy hour was nice and the drinks were delicious. Lunch and dinner meals are much better than the breakfast selections. The staff is very attentive and provided a wonderful service. Pool: Didn't utilize the pool but we saw others did. The staff keep it clean consistently which is great. Location: Easy 100 pesos to the main part of el nido town that the hotel helps arrange. You'll have to arrange your own tricycle back when you're in the town but there's plenty that are available throughout the main town.

There were a few people coming up to us selling bracelets while eating in the restaurant. It didn't bother us but worth noting for others as they may experience it as well.

Last Frontier is a beautiful small resort. The staff were lovely and helped us with all our needs. I booked 2 standard rooms as there were 4 girls travelling for my birthday. The rooms were a great size with comfortable bed and lush pillows. We had our breakfast included which was lovely with the yummiest fresh watermelon juices. I also had the best beef carpaccio at the restaurant. They're are great food options either side of the resort also. The resort grounds are kept to a very high standard. The lounge chairs around the pool are perfect for lazy days. The beach out the front is lovely in the morning when the tide is in but does have boats around. We were there in June so it was fairly quite. Its only a short tuk tuk ride to get to Maremegmeg Beach if you after a better beach. I highly recommend staying at this resort and would do so again.
