The staff were the friendliest people. Our flight to El Nido was cancelled and then rescheduled and the staff were very accommodating when we needed to change the dates. Also our rescheduled flight meant we arrived at Neela’s at 6am and again the staff were so helpful in letting us check in early which was very much appreciated as we had been travelling the whole night vie plane & bus. Neela Lodge provides breakfast in the morning serving the best American style pancakes I’ve had! so so good! I would 100% stay here again if I come back to El Nido. Location was excellent too, 2 minute walk to the beach and good selection of places to eat nearby. This place also organises trips which helped keep things really simple for us.

For the price paid I was really happy with what Neela Lodge offered, hot water for the shower would be great however it is the Philippines and this seems hard to come by no matter where we go.

Close to main road, restaurants, stores, and pharmacy; walking distance to Corong-Corong beach; free breakfast (with numerous options) and drinking water (hot & cold); cold aircon & fan; triple room had separate bath (hot & cold shower), toilet (with bidet), and sink; towels provided; comfortable bed and pillows; fell ill during our trip and the staff felt genuinely concerned for us

Tap water seems to be dirty (might be an El Nido thing); the triple room didn't have a balcony so we had to dry our clothes in other areas and sit downstairs for breakfast; wish the bathroom had hooks for clothes and floating shelf for toiletries

I needed a hotel with AC quick after the AC in my beach hotel broke down at 9.30 pm and it was intolerably hot and humid. Booked Neela‘s, moved and 45 minutes later I was in air conditioned bliss. A clean room with a very comfortable bed/mattress, AC and ceiling fan worked well and in the morning a nice surprise: free breakfast! The staff were very helpful and checkout time was noon! The location is much better than other hotels in the Corong-corong area. Walk down the little alley next to it and you are on the beach. Pharmacy for that sunburn lotion us right next to the hotel as are restaurants Yes, the hotel is on the main road but it is set back and you don’t hear any road noise ( not like some I stayed at). And there is a reliable German water heater in the bathroom. I don’t understand why other hotels in the area get a rating of over 8 and this little beauty only 7.1. I would stay there again if I was in El Nido and wanted a good hotel in that area that’s worth every penny!

The kid that checked me in at night could use an English class or two.

The room was very confortable and spotless clean. Shower was nice with hot water. AirCon worked fine and they had a fan as well to be used with the generator during the power shortage (it happens in El Nido). Location was good in Corong Corong. Breakfast was ok. Could be better, but not a problem for us.

Our main issue was wifi. It didn’t work at all in our room on the 2nd floor. Only worked in the reception.

Good location by main road on Coron Coron Beach- not as El Nido town but a quick 100 peso trike ride over. Nice breakfast, aircon worked.

Wifi was sporadic but I think that's an area thing, not a hotel thing.

Staff was Very Helpful in changing TV set in my room and acting as concierge

The internet on the ground floor is working very well, but its not working in the rooms on the 2nd floor.

Clean and nice room. Not too big though but totally fine for what we've been looking for. Friendly staff.
