This was the best hotel I stayed in on Cebu. It was comfortable, the pool had a great view, the room had an even better one, the breakfast was excellent - a buffet with a huge spread, an egg station, fruit station, juice station, cereal bar, viennoiserie bar, everything was quite mind-blowing. The hotel also has an in-house bakery with soft serves and pretty good pastries. The cloud motif on all the toiletries and bedroom slippers was very chic.

The boutique was not open. Hotel lobby air-conditioning also wasn't turned on a lot of the time. In lieu of keycards they give you these flimsy rubber waterproof wrist strap things that can't be properly secured to your wrist, and then charge you an arm and a leg if you lose them.

Breakfast was basic good, Swimming pool was excellent to swim laps. Staff were amazingly friendly and eager to help

Reception explained the basic stingy rules of the house: 1 in-room coffee capsule per person per day. 1 bottle of water per person per day. seems a bit stingy in the wrong places for such a nice hotel. Couldn't swim in the sea off the private beach after 17:30 as there was no lifeguard, even though this was the best time to swim / snorkel.

How the Hotel is built is well thought out. Breakfast was very good, well above all locations so far in the Philippines.

Overall everything is far from the hotel and not many food options for lunch. Plus hotel is a bit pricy for even European standards let alone local ones.

Brand new hotel. The AC was working well but was super loud. The view from the rolls with sea view is wonderful. The breakfast was good but crowded and was not refilled properly. Large pool for swimming but not enough sun beds at the beach . The staff is super friendly and helpful. We can recommend the bar which is open Thursday to Sunday with bartender Fred. He did the best cocktails we had since Paris .

Price for water bottles in the room was really high and we haven’t had the chance to sign for it we only got an invoice at the end to which we finally agreed because we had to leave .

Lovely resort, it's just on the beach. The bedroom was really pretty and comfortable. The ocean view from my room's balcony was amazing. The breakfast is great, there is a lot of choices and it's really good. The staff were kind.

The building where was my room was strangely built: the corridor is on the outside. Well, not completely because you still have a roof, but there is no walls at the end of the corridors. So when it's windy, you can hear the wind violently blowing outside your front door. The hotel's restaurant is quite pricey, and you have to keep in mind that the VAT (12%) is not even included in the prices on the menu, nor the extra 10% for service. There was no fridge in the room, only a mini bar, so if you have your own food or drinks to put in there, well, you simply can't. It's also really far from everything, there's no convenient store nearby or anything.

the location is nice, the fries and burger at the bakery is great!, customer service is amazing… from from front office, the luggage porters, the resto/bakery staff so earger to assist and accomodating and the reservations office - maam Eve… salamat

the brewed coffee not strong… well its individual preferences… the bfast set up is buffet and self served…. the coffee mugs can be bigger or have a staff that can go around serving coffee or refilling water…. the accoustics at “the kitchen” can be improve…. the garbage bins can be hidden…. staff was dishing out left over food and guest can see the huge garbage bins…. chaffing dishes temp checked regularly…. the koi area can be improved… dark and gloomy….

The room and views were amazing and clean facilities. The breakfast buffet was great and very diverse. The staff was always on point for any concerns and always there to help with questions. The infinity pools were very clean and never too busy. There is even a shaded pool beside the main pool if you don't want too much sun.

The location is far from local places and kinda makes you have to rely on the resort amenities. Also the charge for extra things like paddle boards and the arcade. They do give you the 1st 30 minutes free in the arcade which consisted of pool tables, darts, air hockey and 2 PS5 stations. I would expect them to want to have people using these extra amenities but the extra charge detures guests instead of inviting them. Just be cautious of the beach its crushed shells not sand.

A fairly new hotel with lots of amenities and right next to the beach with an exceptionally friendly and competent team. Very clean, good beds, and a great breakfast buffet. All in all, great value for money. Great infinity pools.

Some minor issues, like a wifi-internet service with very little bandwidth and air-conditioning units that have condensation water issues. I'm sure they'll fix it along the way. Great café and cakes, the catering regarding other dishes needs to be improved It's a bit off the main roads, but they have an efficient taxi and shuttle service. On the other hand, this provides tranquillity

Very clean and well maintained resort. Bed was super comfortable and aircon was nice and cold. Infinity pool was nice too and staff was super friendly. The bakery was good to have cheaper meals at as an alternative to the main dining area next to the pool that serves Thai food which is a bit expensive

Took a very long time for the hot water to come through in the shower. Bit of a walk to the main road to get snacks and eat out at a restaurant but the hotel can arrange a taxi for you. Far away from main city Cebu. Very expensive hotel for Mactan a lot of alternative cheaper options in the area but still worth it if you just want to stay at a resort to relax. More restaurants in the hotel would be ideal so guests don’t have to travel to the main road. There was more Filipino food served at breakfast than western options

Via Booking.com, it was highly rated so i got curious. I wanted to visit Cebu again after almost 10yrs (to see how the city is now), but I wanted to stay in a hotel by the beach. The Reef Island Resort delivered what I’ve envisioned for my R&R.

The outside lobby area where the main area is with the eternity pool, and restaurant could sometimes be crowded. And since the main pool is just outside the hotel lobby and next to the restaurant (where guests usually take their breakfast), it could be quite uncomfortable to swim wearing a swimsuit.
