Great place. A new hotel, at beach location. very clean and i loved some of the staff. Some staff members who are working at the breakfast or Abby (working for tourist information desk) exceeded my expectations. Thank u for this. Beach/pool/breakfast/dinner/Music/rooms/clean/beds/staff/Gym all is positive!

I needed to call the headquarters of Booking.com because i received an email from best western who tells me i did not had paid yet and i needed to make a deposit otherwise the reservation was not valid. when i told Best Western they made a mistake and that i already paid the full price they nog believed me .... and stayed pushing ... i needed to call the headquarters of Booking.com to solve this problem. I also send our emails between best western and me to booking.com for investigation. after that i suddenly received a sorry email from best western. We all make mistakes, but this one is not really a nice one!

Over all the hotel is absolutely fantastic. The staffs are very friendly and courteous. The breakfast buffet have different menu everyday and are much better than the American hotel breakfast buffet.Every night the hotel have entertainment such as live band! Our room is on top floor and have ocean view! Ha! Now that's a bonus there. It's a very close walking distance to the beach and other restaurants. The BW hotel food menu has fantastic and excellent foods for lunch and dinner. I will definitely go back and recommend the place. NO REGRETS! ITS ALL FUN!

No clarification on pick up payments for transportation. There was one thing I got confused. When my family got picked up from the airport by the van, I was told by the driver that he doesn't work for the hotel( contracted only) so I gave him the money(payments for the van). So when the final bill came out, I saw that I was charged for the pick up transportation. So I told the front desk that I thought I already paid that amount? Because I gave the (payment) money to the driver. But apparently the driver denied it but my family saw that I handed the money to the driver. So the driver must have thought that it was his tip! But that was a big tip! Short story, the hotel told me that they will investigate the driver and that I will not be charged from that pick up transaction.

Location and the breakfast buffet!

My recent stay at this hotel with my family had its ups and downs. We initially requested a room change due to an unpleasant odor in our first room, which was an inconvenience. In the new room, we encountered a problem with the number of beds and were told about an extra fee, though we managed to resolve it without payment. Despite these issues, I must commend the exceptional staff who assisted us throughout our stay. Apart from these hiccups, everything else about our stay was great. The location and facilities met our expectations, and the staff's professionalism and helpfulness were truly exceptional. While our experience had its moments of frustration, the staff's dedication and service were commendable.

Place is new and clean. Staff are very nice, helpful and polite. They always greet you with their beautiful smile. Our room was upgraded to premium with direct access to the pool. Great view of the pool and it feels like we have our own private pool. The location is beachfront and there are lots of shops and resto around. There is a live band every night. They serve a variety of food during breakfast. I recommend the place and will definitely go back here.

Alcohol is very expensive. Price of a beer is 230 pesos! You can buy a bottle at 80 pesos at the other bars and restaurants. Food is ok or so so. They don’t serve variety of Filipino breakfast. Was looking for filipino breakfast like danggit, tuyo, itlog na maalat, tocino and tapa etc. Some breakfast menu are too heavy too eat, its more of lunch or dinner menu.

Amazing place, the best choice to stay in Alona beach Panglao. The resort had comfy beds, beautiful rooms, and well thought-of amenities. Our almost 2 yr old son enjoyed the children's play area. The staff blew us away with their excellent service, ability to anticipate our needs, and friendliness! Gel, from the food and beverage staff was always there every morning to greet us with a smile for the breakfast buffet and made sure we were all comfortable. We also enjoyed dinner al fresco at their beach front with live music. The food is amazing and always good! The only complaint I have was the sink in our room's bathroom was clogged, but I informed the housekeeping staff and they took care of it right away. We also enjoyed the spacious pool & swim up bar since the beach is not always swimmable due to seaweeds and sea urchins or jellyfish. All in all, for a visit in rainy September, this resort exceeded our expectations and we will recommend it to family and friends who visit Panglao!

Great pool, location, food and amazing beach just beyond garden. Staff were great. There was an initial problem with the booking not coming through the system fully, which meant a request for a lower floor was an initial issue (which they weren't aware of), and stairs were technically not in use. (I have a problem with lifts having been stuck two years ago in another country. Most modern hotels abroad are designed to allow use of stairs only in an emergency, which is a pain if you don'tlike lifts but love other aspects of the hotel). Both problems were resolved to my satisfaction immediately.

Highly recommended hotel for local and foreign tourists who would like to explore Bohol. The room is really nice, especially those with sea view. The country side package tour being offered by the hotel is excellent. However, the island hopping package tour is Not Good. Hopefully they will improve their arrangement with the island hopping tour. The hotel manager Ms Nika is really nice, she raised our concern with their concessioner/partner in island hopping tour to get fees reduction from the alleged packaged tour.

Island hopping package tour is not recommendable. There is no local guide, no safety controls in terms of records (who is the captain, boat name, destination spots) and many hidden charges (not really a packaged tour. Better get arrangement with other travel and tours in terms of island hopping.

We like everything about Best Western Plus The Ivywall Resort-Panglao. The staff were nice and polite, the room was clean, food was very good also, we also love the happy hour, very good cocktail drinks, pool was very good also and location was perfect. Not on a very busy part of Alona beach but still very close to everything. We like the small beach front area. They maintained it very well. Just that in the afternoon it tends to get a little dirty but its from the people who doesnt throw their trash properly. Not the hotel's fault but maybe they can clean up a little bit around after lunch to make sure the area will still be clean in the afternoon. Specially for guests who love to enjoy the beautiful scenery and enjoy happy hour. We loved the place. We wished we booked longer. Will definitely comeback!
