Lovely old historic building with his own climate. Room furniture is minimalistic, beds were hard but that's what I expected - very good for my back. Family didn't complained either. Room was warm, bathroom small but we had no issues with warm water. Breakfast was good, we found everything we needed. Short walk distance to the village center. Excellent value for money. Overall, for me was reminder of old times, I was looking for this and got what I expected
Strange pipe noises in the walls 2 or 3 times over the late evening. When someone uses water, we heard that too. Didn't bothered us too much to sleep at the end.

The location is excellent; all the places we wanted to visit were within walking distance and so were nice restaurants. The staff were very friendly, accommodating, and helpful - we felt welcome. We stayed in an interesting room at the top level, under the slanted roof - it was cute, nicely appointed, and comfortable.
The room was nice, but a little too warm. There was a fan, but this particular room could have used an AC on very hot days. Also, the top level was fine for us, but would not be OK for an older person or someone who has a hard time climbing steep stairs (especially with a suitcase).

Superb location, very nice unique city. Very good value for money. Were no problem to park the car.
Uncomfortable beds, to old and to solid it was main reason of bad sleep. Very poor sound isolation.

I prefer a firm mattress, but the bed was way too hard.

A delightful old villa. A place with soul, with atmosphere. Rooms quite basic, but we did not mind at all. The breakfast was great, the staff was nice. Location is excellent, practically in the center of Szczawno-Zdroj.
