Location & location… right on the river, beautiful views, sounds and birdsong! The illumination of bridge at night …very romantic. The sites the quaint town and the whole river area for ambling about. Good spacious room & modern bathroom. A varied & good breakfast. Good pool ( but tired area) All staff very polite, kind and welcoming.

A mix up of room booked but otherwise sorted very efficiently and politely! Thank you! i found the hotel tired & dated esp the spa area, nothing was working not sauna nor steam room ( the present photos 2022 ) do not show the actual level of hotel. some parts are removed and others forgotten .

Hotel sat along side a river with all the wild life to see, lovely view, great location. Staff friendly, large room and clean, good breakfast plenty to choose from. Secure parking for motorcycle, but charged for parking 10 Euros if reserved.

On checking in at reception, there was an unbearable strong smell of automatic air freshener, it was that bad, when having a glass of wine in the evening the wine glasses had an aroma of this scent and you could taste it on the glass. Parking charge for motorcycle, it was free if not reserved, but would have to move it if some one had paid and needed your space.

We got an upgrade to a room with a veranda, which was really great and generous! The bed was super comfortable and the view to the river was breathtaking. The restaurant was fantastic, and the service was excellent throughout.

We didn't have hot water for the better part of our stay (though the staff did everything they could and the situation improved somewhat on the 2nd day), and the internet was out for several hours during one afternoon.

The choice for breakfast was excellent and plentiful. I prefer to have fruit, yogurt etc which was excellent but there was always a choice of cooked breakfast too. Despite it being in January and the hotel being quite quiet, the staff were always there and very helpful when needed.

The only constructive criticism would be that it would be good to have a mirror above the dressing table. Like most hotels, there is a hairdryer in the bathroom but I prefer to dry my hair in a less steamy area.

Very helpful team on reception who helped us with evening meal bookings which was really appreciated. Massive bed in lovely corner room with river views. Enjoyed the pool table albeit an interesting slope! Big breakfast selection and once guests decided to draw back curtains, a room with a view. Handy to have car park and free though tight spaces. Location is fab, a short stroll away from the small town. Nice old photos and paintings of hotel over the decades adorn walls. Fresh fruit salad in room on arrival was a welcome surprise.

Unusual to require a swimming cap to use small pool, but do recall reading this in advance so at least need is communicated.

The personal is attentive and helpful. We spent my boyfriend's anniversary there and they offered us a bottle of sparkling wine, fruit bowls and a birthday card. The place is beautiful with a private beach at the river. Spa, kayaks and stand up paddle for free. Breakfast was included and very vast and good quality. They were nice and let us leave our luggage to go for a walk before check-in and let us stay at the garden for a couple of hours after check out. Parking for bikes.

Position in the town, rooms were very nice overlooking the river. One room the shower head was broken and the iPad in the room did not work, [reception informed]. Check in was very easy and friendly.

There was no restaurant service because our stay was on Monday, which is poor for a hotel of this level.

Expansive and fresh offerings at breakfast, the hotel and dining staff were very helpful and accommodating, and the location was exceptional - I especially enjoyed listening to the river rushing over the waterfall at night.

Garage parking is limited and we sometimes had to wait for the front desk staff to appear.

The location is superb, the hotel has a very beautiful garden where you can simply spend the whole day relaxing

The pool & jacuzzi could be warmer

Caring staff. Wide room and clean. The location and the view. The sound isolation.

Breakfast could present more variety. Juices, for instance, could have a little more quality. Toilet and bathroom sink were very close, which was a little uncomfortable. Bed was composed by two mattresses, although a single one was requested and ensured.
