Only booked as was recommended by a friend for convenience for the area. The older men were actually nice when I saw them. The receptionist spoke to me about cycling, and another gentleman helped me at breakfast and another with check-in. Bath was nice and deep.

I travel a bit, and I wouldn't say I'm picky, but I'm realistic and fair. I think it was double the price of any other listing in the area, which looked all better. Again, as above, it was booked as it was of more convenience to a friend I was seeing. It was tired and outdated. The heating system wasn't great and loud. No kettle, which I've never had before in all times I've stayed in Europe. Toaster wouldn't work at buffet. Wasn't a great selection of food at breakfast. Chilled items but not in a chilled environment. I'm a chef, so this was a slight concern. Room full of dampness. Requested a double bed and got 2 singles. Almost a week before check-in. Asked for early check-in, then when no response came at after 3 pm and no one at reception after ringing bell umpteen times. A gentleman who was sitting in the bar area tried to help me, who was not a staff member, but spoke no English, so he had to Google translate with my phone. They had no idea of my booking although booked a month in advance and took 20mins to get me in a room. Doors didn't lock or shut properly. Some sockets didn't work. Alot of hair in the bathroom, not my own or my friends. Dark and black. I'm fair haired. Wouldn't say it was paraiso but would work well as a budget hotel, at almost half the cost. I wouldn't say it was 3 star in comparison to around 12 or 13 other European countries I had been to. I hate to say this but I have to be honest. 3 the men I dealt with were genuinely nice 😔

The city needs better and way more updated facilities, everything is functional but old school it needs a refurbishment urgent this place deserves more and better as the city needs it too . Overall expensive and not worthy
