Very welcoming and friendly staff, room was a descent size regular double hotel room with a TV, writing desk, a small kitchenette, a small table and armchairs for both occupants. The bathroom was well equipped and included a bathtub as well. We also had a balcony, though as ours was towards the parking, we would rather spend our outdoor time in the hotel pool area that had plenty of space by the fairly big swimming pool including a wide lawn for a more private rest in the sun and complimentary sun beds. The pool area also had it’s own bar for the convenience of the sunbathers. There was also another swimming pool indoors especially suitable for families with smaller children with a view to the outside pool area as it was only separated from it by big glass windows. As there was a fairly long, though not impossible, walking distance to the most central parts of Cascais, with the old town and the train station, the hotel provided a free shuttle there a few times a day, but we also used a very reasonably priced taxi service a couple of times when the schedule wasn’t convenient. The hotel breakfast was quite good and and varied as well and can be recommended. And finally, we had rented a car to be able to, at our own convenience, see more of all the wonderful natural and historical sights nearby, including Sintra and Cabo da Roca, so we also very much appreciated the free parking provided by the hotel.

There was not much not to like about this hotel, the only thing that comes to mind was that toilet sink drained very slowly, but I assume that was just due to a clogged drain pipe and has been fixed after I reported it to the staff. Another minor issue that I might mention was that the kitchen ware and provided utensils didn’t seem very precisely planned or thought through for the assumed normal occupancy of the room, instead it all seemed a bit random.

Excellent breakfast with a wide choice of hot and cold food. Indoor swimming pool quite large and never crowded. The gym was not so great with a narrow choice of apparata, but better than nothing. I did not use the sauna. Location-wise the hotel is a 35 minute walk from the centre of Cascais, but there is a beautiful walk into the town along the coast, and past the famous Boca do Inferno. In the evening when it is dark one can return from Cascais via bus (M27); the terminal is a short walk from the train station in Cascais and it will stop in Rua del Torre, a short distance from the hotel.

The service provided was exceptional - they couldn't do enough for us. Excellent breakfast selection. Size of outdoor pool very good. The superior sea-view room is enormous! Very good housekeeping service.

Uncertainty regarding the availability of the indoor pool. The Booking.com listing did not make this clear - it was said to be closed until the end of August, but turned out to still be closed when we visited at the end of September. However, the outdoor pool was great. The connecting door between our superior sea view room and the next room was poorly sound-proofed. Not a big issue, but disconcerting!! The bathroom was good, although needs some updating. The main course choices in the evening buffet (which we used on 3 occasions) was disappointing.

Good breakfast with lovely fresh fruit selection. Pool great. Bedroom warm, spacious, good bathroom, kitchenette, wardrobe space. Great view from balcony of sea and pool. Cleaning good. All staff are welcoming and immediately address any issues raised. Reception/ front of house management exceptionally helpful. 20 minutes’ walk along sea front from Cascais and regular buses if preferred.

Needed to report fault with curtains. (Quickly fixed). No short cut to sea front. Could you have a card/pass system for guests to allow easy access/egress.

This has to be one of the best hotels I've been in. The staff are a delight, so helpful and just generally nice and with great tips about the area! Great facilities- there is an indoor and outdoor pool, where you can enjoy a proper swim and lovely poolside area, where you can also enjoy your breakfast if you want to eat outside. There is also a well equipped gym, Turkish bath, tennis courts and more. The breakfast is included and it had a great selection of fresh fruits, salads and breads. Also less healthy fare, if you want it! Very comfortable room and bathroom. The location is fantastic, round the coast from central Cascais, which invites you to walk along the beautiful coast, starting with a great calisthenics gym overlooking the sea and you can experience all the amazing views and less crowded beaches, which you might not find out about if you were in the centre of town. Loved it all! Can't wait to come back.

The wifi wasn't good in our room and my son needed to finish some work, but it was fine in the bar, which is a very pleasant place to sit. Other than that there was nothing to complain of.

Great hotel to stay a little bit out of Cascais but within comfortable walking/bus distance to the hustle and bustle. The indoor and outdoor pools were great, especially with changeable weather. The green spaces next to the hotel were also very enjoyable and provided shade and ocean views as desired. All staff were super friendly and the room was comfortable. We also enjoyed the balcony with the sea view, very calming!

Sauna/spa facilities need a little updating to bring them in line with the rest of the property

I have no complaints. It was the second time I stay there. It was an overall good experience, good location and meeting point for the family members who live in the area.

There was nothing I did not like but I would suggest having staff members that speak more than Portuguese in posts that deal with the public. There was more than one occasion when they did not speak English and as I don’t speak Portuguese we could not communicate clearly.

This particular visit was exceptional. Check in was swift. We had a lovely room, nice big bed and bathroom. We had 2 lovely apples presented to us on arrival at the room which was a nice surprise. Sadly we were only staying one night so we could not take full advantage of the sunny balcony and room views. I usually use the indoor pool on my visits as it is very nice but we ran out of time. Breakfast was good as it usually is. Self Service as normal but very attentive waiters filling up and clearing plates

We wished we could have stayed longer!

We love the position of the hotel, as it is close to our family who live in Cascais.We visit Portugal about 5 times a year Staff are friendly. Hotel room clean. Breakfasts are good.Cannnot comment on other meals.

Not very keen on room 103 as lorries unloading into what we presume is the kitchen, seem to take up a fair bit of the morning and were quite noisy.Several times in our room we could smell food. We did inform management staff. Several lights did not work.
