Nice historical property. Very big rooms.

The rooms to the inner courtyard were dark with no windows except for the door. Since it is an old historical building, there is no airconditioning and the only way to air the room was to keep the door to our room open at night. A wierd thing was also a find, that the room did not have any wardrobes even though the rooms were grandiously big. The wardrobe was licated in the bathroom, but due to the moisture from showering, you do not want to keep your clothes there. Also the minibar was in the bathroom.... 😂 😂😂, which we found out upon checking out as we were asked if we consumed anything extra and we said we did not have a minibar.

A lovely hotel in a beautiful old convent, clearly restored at considerable expense. There is a gym, swimming pool and spa. Our room (Junior Suite) was spacious, with lots of storage space and a large (7 feet wide) and very comfortable bed. The staff were excellent. The food was good and the breakfast wide ranging, of excellent quality and with eggs, including omelettes, cooked to order. The car parking has at least 30 spaces, is very secure, good value for money, and with lift access to the hotel.

Stunning architecture with large, well appointed rooms and public spaces. The staff is kind, friendly and filled with helpful suggestions. Location is a few blocks from the major sites to explore, near restaurants and plazas. Easy parking. The spa is luxurious and indoor pool a pleasure. Easy drive to Badajoz and Merida, which are important to visit. Restaurant food was so good.

Beds are hard as a rock. ROCK HARD. Breakfast eggs, quiche etc were cold...all the effort put into a healthy, beautiful quiche and its served directly from the refrigerator. HOT food should be HOT.

Location, facilities, staff availability and sympathy and all the History surrounding the place. Loved it

Peolple occupying beds by the pool with toals, for hours, not being there. It´s rude and it shouldn't be allowed by the hotel: unccupied beds by the pool, but "reserved" with toals, should be made available for other guests with no place to lay. Also, I had my car dammaged by another car at the garage, during the night from Friday to Saturday. No to blame on the hotel but i think i must let it be knwon

Absolutely outstanding ! What a hotel. This place is amazing. The staff , the food , rooms . spa with 2 pools. Everything was excellent. It exceeded our expectations on every level. We found the town a little quiet in the evenings but Elvas is stunning. Visit the fort and see the aquadect. Easy to walk around and the hotel is bang in the center. Definitely will be back.

The historic building in the heart of the city is turned into a hotel with a very nice pool, large rooms and friendly workers. It is just minutes away from the town center and it has facilities which makes you spend time in the hotel. All in all it is an amazing facility

The breakfast is ok but we thought it would be even better with a cleaner approach, especially around the section where they serve omelettes. Otherwise all is fine.

Loved the cleanliness, the buffet was great, the facilities. The staff were accommodating Laundry and ironing facilities

The bar staff were under staffed. It took 30 mins for 2 drinks and some fries to be served. Once the food was served it was cold There are no irons in the bedrooms which is a problem as we were there for a wedding. We were then directed to the laundry and ironing facilities. The hotel does not have an atm or money change service

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times and have to say it’s always a delight. Beautiful, relaxing and with everything you need. The perfect getaway in the lovely town of Elvas. This time we decided to stay in one of the suites and I have to say it was worth it. It was really nice with a fantastic view. We were received with a welcome slice of cake and wine that were both really really good, a real treat! Thank you for making out stay special.

Excellent location with super-friendly and helpful staff. Half board option superb value, choice of dishes from a la Carte menu at no extra cost. Breakfast simple continental style but overall food very good and great value. Room large and comfortable and free use of swimming pool and jaccuzi great after a long drive. Underground car park easy to access with wide spaces and reasonable value.

Would have preferred a double bed to the large comfortable 2 singles!

Very stylish, friendly, eager to help personnel. Room was good, good beds and quiet. Nice bar, excellent breakfast. Location ideal for the old town and enough free parking spaces when we arrived around 3 pm Friday.

We had halfboard and appreciated the starters and the desserts, but not the mains. We woul not eat dinner again. An additional light near the mirror in the bathroom would be handy
