A nice hotel with good facilities, although there did not seem to be much of interest in the immediate vicinity.. The room was spacious and quiet. The large bed was comfortable. The hotel has a restaurant and a good buffet breakfast is available. In the evening the restaurant offers dinner. We took dinner in the restaurant and the meal was tasty but was not in our opinion particularly good value as there was a minimal amount of meat in the main course with a lot of rice. The hotel has underground parking with plenty of spaces, but although there is a double gate into the car park only one side opens and this makes it rather narrow so anyone with a large SUV would find it tight.

We feel that there should be more than one person on reception. There was only one person when we arrived and he was busy answering the phone with one call after another and as a result we had a long wait to be able to check-in. Presumably taking new bookings takes priority over those waiting to check-in.

Easy to find good access to secure Garage. We had a program with room air con broke they moved us immediately and a letter of apology in our new room with fruit.

Having to go through the trauma of complaining about the air con not working .with not being able to speak Spanish or the girl on reception not understanding us. We had had a long drive and it was a very hot room. The room should of been checked before we checked in. Also dinner starting at 8pm is too late for us. I do appreciate this is normal in Spain.

Secure underground car park. Really friendly and welcoming staff on reception, bar and restaurant. Hotel really well maintained and could not fault the room or circulation areas. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom.

Our only disappointment was breakfast on the first morning. Croissants were under cooked. Fried eggs were done to a crisp and bacon was cold and greasy. Our second morning all was cooked OK. For the inclusive room rate this would not put me off booking again as there was a good selection beside the cooked items.

We loved everything about the property. it is centrally located with paid underground parking. Our room was very spacious with lots of complimentary items, including water. We really liked that there was a kettle in room, there was one sachet of normal coffee and one of decaf coffee, which suited us but might not suit everyone. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and large, we had the best nights sleep in ages. Breakfast was served downstairs, unfortunately it wasn’t a buffet, probably down to low numbers of guests, but there was plenty to choose from the menu, which was only available in Spanish. we would definitely stay here again.

Really nice hotel centrally located and we were able to get to the old town easily. Underground parking was a bonus. The room was excellent, a good size with a huge king size bed, the bathroom was spotless, plenty of towels, soaps and shower gel was provided. The bed was really comfortable. We dined in the restaurant and also took the express breakfast in the morning, both were excellent quality and good value. We would definitely stay here again if passing through and would recommend it.

In general the facilities are good. The room was clean and the pool was a godsend in the 43 degrees heat at the time. Interesting things to see in Badajoz. Room service was nice and not too expensive.

The key cards failed to work on multiple occasions which was a known issue. The concierge simply reissued them after asking my name and room number. Potential security issue there. Some mold in the bathroom. Minor gripe but the pizzas were overpriced and of the frozen variety. (probably Dr. Oetker store bought) In general the hotel is worthy of 3-3.5 stars but I'd expect a slightly higher standard for its four stars.

Location very good; not in the "heart" of Badajoz but in a wonderful avenue. Walking distance to cafeterias and restaurants. High class hotel: really nice reception, staff very friendly and professional! Rooms top clean and very good quality of beds and sheets. Very good amenities in the bathroom. Good TV channels selection. Breakfast quite good (quality and options). Good return for what you pay!

The location, though only stayed there overnight in transit to Malaga.

The parking cost is far too much and also you need to be a very skilled driver not to get your car damaged when entering or leaving the car park or even leaving your parking spot. Climbing into a bath to have a shower was dangerous and the shower itself for a 4 start hotel is terrible. Hotel is dated, needs a complete refurb . Specially the rooms. Stayed in a 3 star better and less money. You can see this hotel caters for big functions .

Everything. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here. Great location. On site parking Friendly professional staff. Beautiful room. Spotlessly clean. Good breakfast Lovely little pool. Big fresh pool towels.

Nothing except maybe the Ac could be a little better in the room but,given the exceptionally high temperatures, it tried lol

Fantastic place in the heart of Badajoz. A divine staff who will help make your stay memorable. HC Badajoz has great facilities, with everything you need and with the most remarkable and human team. After spending almost two months in the past year due to family/health issues, I must admit HC Badajoz made this difficult process a lot lighter with such a wonderful stay.
