We got room 2 and 5 (if I recall correctly). Which I think were the best (first one with a view, last one a bit farther from the road). They were both well equipped, clean and confortable with clim. Ines is very friendly and welcomed us nicely with useful information. Common Kitchen is practical. Breakfast was good and diversified and we loved the daily cake :-)

One way road can be bit noisy and sound insulation between the rooms is not the best. But the neighbours were very quiet and bed very comfortable to make up for it, so all in all a good address in Faial.

We loved our stay here. The hosts were super nice and helpful. There was a delicious breakfast in the mornings with homemade items such as yogurt, jams and cake to go along with the other breakfast items. Coffee and cake were available throughout the day. There was labeled spaces in the fridge to leave your items and then kitchen had all of the cooking items you would need. The rooms were nice with a little balcony and great view of Mount Pico. Great location on the island.

This place is wonderful - the staff is lovely, happy and welcoming. The place has all the conveniences you could possibly ask for, the kitchen is well equipped and the breakfast gears toward most tastes with a mix of breads, spreads, fruit and cereal. The beds are wide and comfortable with good quality linen and the rooms have air conditioning, which is well needed part of the year. When you come downstairs in the morning the tables are beautifully laid out in a personal way, according to room occupation, just as should be but rarely is at B&B's. There is a kettle and espresso machine for guests to use daytime at their convenience and even some homebaked goods to go with your cup. The place is a solid 10, especially considering value for money. Even the location would be a 10, if you don't mind the exercise or travel by taxi all the time. H18 is about a 10 minute walk up hill from the coastline and Horta marina.

Nicely decorated in a kind of Scandi style with a very good size room with a small balcony and a nice view toward Pico. The receptionist was very friendly and gave me all the information needed. There was a good breakfast with some nice local cheeses, bread, yoghurt and more.

The place is located on a bit of a busy road but that has not been a problem (it gets very quiet at night).

We had room nr 5 at the front of the building. As H18 is a little up the hill, we had gorgeous views of Horta and the ocean and the island opposite Pico and its majestic mountain. H18 is modern and fresh. Our room was spacious and bright and very quiet at night, with a tiny terrace with sea views. Bed was good and shower strong. Breakfast was nice in the morning, with good nespresso coffee and a selection of bread, cheese and ham, marmelade and yoghurt. Parking is easy in front of the building.

A great place to stay in Horta. Very handy having the use of a kitchen, especially on Sunday when most eateries in Horta seem to close. The people I dealt with were friendly and helpful. Good continental breakfast.

Nothing. It is a fair step up a fairly steep hill from the waterfront but that's the only drawback I found.

It's great that a basic breakfast is provided and that there is access to a kitchen. Check in was super easy and views from the room are really nice. Beds were comfortable and the lady at reception was really helpful with booking us a taxi. Accurate depictions of the room provided.

Really hard not to get water everywhere in the bathroom.

Great location, clean room, excellent breakfast and very friendly owner. Fetima helped us to solve car rental issue. Supermarket is 5 min away with best products available. This is super base to explore Faial island.

We had a car so the location was good. Street brought right into the middle of town. Looked as if the entire place had been remodeled. Everything seemed new.

The only thing we didn't like were the sewer flies in the bathroom. We noticed other hotels with the same issue. It appears that in Portugal there are not traps under the sink that would prevent the mild sewer smell.

We had a lovely time at H18! Fatima and the other staff members were amazing and replied kindly to every request we had. Definitely recommend!
