Amazing hotel close enough to the port yet quiet and comfortable. I was able to check in a little earlier as a room was available. Both the breakfast and dinner are good value for money and varied. Open also to non guests, with a buffet available if enough people are staying at the hotel. The room and common areas were very clean. Parking is available close to the property however it can get busy during the week.

The beds were pretty hard. The location affords a fantastic view but if you are not fit or older, it’s challenging. I walked up the hill twice and then opted to take taxis back from downtown. it would be no problem for the young and athletic but I’m almost 80 and a non athlete….. so you can see I did manage and would always consider again as the view is priceless.

Hotel staff where great and friendly. Rooms where clean and a fantastic view of Pico. Balconies great feature. Beds where comfortable and good WIFI. Was too cold to use pool but looked very inviting to spend an afternoon getting some sun.

For people staying longer than 3 days, breakfast becomes a bit boring, same thing every time. lots of tourists using hotel from around the world and maybe the local city of Horta could use this location to offer tours and advertise its attractions. It seems staff take for granted that we tourists all have a plan and in many cases it is not the case. For example google showed many restaurants open in the area on Sunday and they where closed.

The hotel has a good location (slightly above on a slope), very spacious rooms, diverse breakfast, friendly and helpful staff.

The room heats up quickly without the air conditioning on, the balcony door is difficult to open, and despite mentioning it several times, no one was sent to repair it.

Very nice place to stay We liked everything: room, breakfast, location, view, swimming pool! Staff is very helpful and efficient.

Smoking on terrace should be prohibited during the breakfast. It’s extremely disturbing for non-smoking people like me to enjoy the breakfast while somebody is smoking at the next table.

Arriving room and no heating. Should be checked if its working before arriving. Owner needs to do works it show needs an update.

The reception staff very friendly and helpful, organising and persistent with getting me a tour of the island.. It's difficult apparently as a solo traveller as many operators want a booking of 2 or more but we got one in the end, obrigada! The breakfast had plenty of options and was more than sufficient for my needs. The rooms were comfortable, had a fridge which is needed here, clean and most importantly I had a great view from my balcony of the town and Mount Pico!

It would be nice to have coffee/tea making facilities in the room.

All the girls and guys from reception were extremely helpful and friendly. Keep like this mates! Also great views from higher floor's rooms.

It has been recently renovated which you can still in some parts of the room. But all fine.
