What a location! Sitting above the Douro river you can't help but be impressed with the view. Even though the weather was poor our appreciation of the property and the tasteful modern design more than made up for it. Would definitely recommend it.

The staff were a little more aloof than what we have experienced so far in Portugal. We put it down to them not being as articulate in English as staff in other Hotels in more cosmopolitan areas. There just wasn't the same degree of enthusiasm and welcome as elsewhere. Our food was only adequate, steak had to go back and should have gone back a second time for the same reason. Just a little lack of attention to detail. This shouldn't put anyone off though.

Nice hotel with wonderful view over the river, bridges and the town. The wellness was nice, the stuff always professional. Definitely recommending the restaurant, food was amazing.

It was a little bit annoying that we couldn't reserve a dinner one evening due to very limited capacity and that we had to make reservation even for a buffet breakfast but that is understandable due to stuff capacity.

This is a great place to stay at in the Douro valley, especially if you do not have a car and you only rely on train connections. We loved the pool, it was a great perk of the hotel. The breakfast was delicious, carefully made and the restaurant staff was very attentive.

The hotel has great views, staff were friendly and welcoming. The facilities were good such as the spar, gym, bar etc. The room had wonderful river views and was very comfortable.

Breakfast was ok, not the biggest variety and some of the food that should be hot was not.

The hotel is nice and comfortable. My room was huge and very clean also had beautiful views of the Douro. The breakfast was good. But unfortunately, if you need internet I do not recommend staying here. Everything else was very good.

This hotel offers many facilities that we unfortunately did not use due to lack of time. It is strongly recommrnded to stay more than one night. Everything was beautiful. We liked very much the view of the Douro from the lovely terrace. The size of the room was amazing. It was more spacious than any suit we ever stayed at. Front desk tram was friendly and helpful.

The most amazing hotel. Huge room with amazing balcony with fantastic view overlooking the three bridges. Large bathroom, very good breakfast.

The room is very hot and the AC unit doesn't cool it!
