Tings Lisbon exceeded my expectations in every possible way. In view of arriving past midnight, I had been given precise details, and I was greeted promptly and checked-in quickly. I stayed in the Lemon Tree room; which was exactly as seen in the photos. It was sparkling clean, spacious enough and with hand picked furniture. Tings is a quiet, serene oasis; all the interior areas are artfully and eclectically decorated and the garden is a piece of Heaven. The quality of the breakfast was higher than excellent; everything is freshly made and I have to say that the home made bread was the tastiest I have ever had. The breakfast selection is reasonable, and it also includes eggs prepared on the spot upon request. The location is also very good; safe for a solo female to walk at any hour. Just steps away there is a wonderful viewing point and the San Jorge castle is a pleasant (downhill) walk, which furthermore leads you to Alfama and the Baixa. The way back was a good workout. Within walking distance from Tings, there is a number of cute restaurants and bars. A list of suggestion is available at the reception. Everyone from the staff is polite, helpful and pleasant to talk to. Special thanks to Priscilla, who is a true sweetheart, helpful and caring, and to Thomas who was in charge of the breakfast and a wonderful host. Tings was one of my best stays ever and I am looking forward to returning!

Breakfast available with meats, cheese, fruits, cereal was just right. Additionally, they offered to cook eggs to order. Coffee very good. The location could mot have been better! Steps away from highest hill with scenic view. Although there were many tourists walking area the streets, it felt more like a Portuguese neighborhood. We loved the loft “zen”room with balcony was an extra pleasure.

Just a note for others, the stairs to our rooms were very steep & narrow. There was outside noise most nights with music & many visitors to the scenic overlook. The sounds did not keep us awake!

The art throughout the hotel added to the magical feeling of being in Lisbon. The staff were incredibly friendly and caring. The owners/managers were kind and welcoming. The room and location of the hotel was safe and clean. The breakfast and coffee in the morning was very special with fresh squeezed juice and specialty coffee. I also enjoyed the eggs and cheese with the fabulous Portuguese bread! This breakfast was more than I usually eat but quite appropriate for a full morning of walking and hiking up and down the city streets of Lisbon.

I had to climb many steps to get there from the subway. Although everywhere in Lisbon has steps, it would have been nice to get a heads up from the hotel about that permutation. LOL 😊.

The Hotel was quite quaint and the garden patio was so nice to sit and relax in the afternoon and evenings. The location was just a short walk to a great view point of Lisbon.

We read the brochure which was in our rooms that any valuables could be safely stored in the hotel safe however when we tried to retrieve our valuables we were strongly discouraged from this service and it seemed it was a major inconvenience by one of your staff members. The keys to the rooms are left hanging by bar when leaving the hotel for the day so we assumed that this was the reason for storing things.

Staff was really nice. Breakfast was great. Room was very good and cosy. We had the Green Lounge Room with a large bath tub. The hotel terrace was cute for having breakfast and the cats as well. We had a special connection with Alexandra, she was the best in advising for dinner and things to do. Location of the hotel is near a view point and also very close to other nice spots like Alfama, trams, Rossio Station.

we could not use the shower properly because the shower head was in the tub, but we had nowhere to place it on the wall. We had to sit down showering, if not, everything would get wet as there was no shower screen or curtain. The bath tub was fabulous though ;)

We absolutely loved our stay at Tings. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The triangle room was a great room for us. The location is amazing. Great viewpoint just up the street and the best pizza place around the corner. Breakfast was a feast every day. The pancakes......sigh.....I miss those. Bacon, eggs, fruit, yogurt, fresh baked bread, delicious coffee....best breakfast of our whole trip by far. The outdoor space is very peacefully and there are many little places to enjoy the quiet, or meet other guests. The space inside feels cozy.

We liked everything about Tings and we will definitely stay there again if we go back to Portugal.

This is the place to be in Lissabon!!!! We had a room with 2 floors, with a balcony into an unbelievable green backyard that nobody expects in the city. The breakfast was outstanding and one choose to take it inside or in the green backyard. Beautiful to start or end the day like this! For the evening you can buy wine and drinks there at fair prices, Rooms are clean and well kept and tell - like the rest of the house - a lot about singers and music of the old rock scene up from 1967. Wow. The Tings is located at one from the famous view points over the city where-to Tucktuck drivers are bringing the people up for the sundowner - and we were living there 50 meters away! As this place is only busy around sunset one is not suffering from noise and crowds. For the rest of the day it is absolutely calm. Another beauty is that you take the famous tram 28E as your transport vehicle going down and up to/ from the city. We never had a problem in entering in the morning or evening as " tourists " :-))) are frequenting it at peaktimes.

Simply no complaint at all !!!

The location of Tings is in the heart of the downtown of Lisbon with many attractions on walking distance, amazing views of the city (Alfama) and alot of eateries nearby. The hotel has a very raw n attractive look, the hosts are really generous n humble. When I arrived, one of the lady hosts guided me about what to visit in the city which was really helpful. The breakfast is amazing with alot of continental options. The best thing about the hotel are the cats Chimmi and Rocco (who I miss already ❤️), very lovey, cuddly and loving cats. All in all it was a marvelous experience and I will really recommend staying here.

Nothing not to like.

This place is extremely pleasant! The furnishings, the decorative elements, the garden, and the terraces are beautiful and artistic. The staff are very friendly and helpful, it was a pleasure to talk to them and get invaluable tips for less touristy places in Lisbon! Although there was a climb up the steep streets of Lisbon to the accommodation, the beautiful view of the city from this place is fantastic! The beds are very comfortable and the room has everything you need. Hope to come back some day to Lisbon and to this place!

the location is quite nice, right next to a really busy viewpoint. amenities were good, there was a kettle for boiling water and the showers had a consistent supply of hot water. most hotels don’t usually meet my standards when it comes to hygiene but this one did!

the entrance is a bit cramped, which seems to be more characteristic of buildings in lisbon than this particular hotel, but it’s something to keep in mind if you’re bigger (like me). if you have decently sized luggage you will struggle with it, though the staff are very helpful. there’s also no elevator, which i must have missed when booking the room; however i didn’t really feel this as the staff helped me bring my luggage up to the room and back down again when i was leaving.
