We were really surprised by the quality of the room for the price we paid. The room was modern, clean, ideally sized for 2 people. The bathroom was spacious, well equipped. Unfortunately the hairdryer didn't work. On top of that we had a small balcony. The service at the reception was friendly and it was no problem to speak English. There was also sufficient wifi connection.

There is not much to complain about the hotel itself. Some previous reviews mention the bad smell of the room or bathroom. We didn't smell anything like that, everything was fine. For some, the location of the hotel itself may be a problem. The Hala Traian neighbourhood is not visually very attractive and if you are reliant on public transport, it will take you longer to get somewhere. There is a tram and bus stop. However, the trams are slow because of the poor quality infrastructure. On the other hand, it's a quiet, safe area, with a good supermarket, a few cafes, and good restaurants and bistros nearby.

The hotel is a 25-30 minute walk from the main square in Bucharest (Piata Unirii) - head for the corner of the square with a KFC on the corner; keep the KFC and New Yorker store on your right and follow the road up and along for 1.5km or so). There is a tram line along the road too with a few bakeries, restaurants, supermarket and pharmacy along the way. The hotel is very stylish and immaculately clean. Staff members were friendly and approachable. The bed was very comfortable and it was nice to have a small balcony in the room. The breakfast is more traditionally Romanian as opposed to the usual 'continental' type. Would happily stay in the hotel again.

The electricity in the bedroom seemed to trip when using the hairdryer in the morning, but came back on in the evening - no major issue, just didn't use a hairdryer in the end.

Considering the price, the hotel exceeded our expectations. Clean at the check-in with daily room cleaning. Bathroom had all the necessities with plenty of hot water. Staff was professional and pleasant.

There is no way to have a hot tea or a coffee, nothing in the room and no machine in the public areas (we asked).

We stayed at the hotel on 21/03/2022 for 6 nights. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed by the receptionist with a friendly smile and curtesy. We have been informed that the hotel was under refurbishment and we might be disturb by some noises. Very good communication. After check in, we went to our allocated room 304 and we were very surprize by the size, cleanness and extras such a minifridge! The room was very comfortable, quiet and the bathroom spotless with an excellent shower. All staff were very friendly and everything asked was no trouble and dealt with with professionalism. Thank you to you all staff from the reception to housekeeping! You all made our holiday memorable. We will definitely book your hotel again with no hesitation. We didn't have any problems but, if you are booking the hotel be aware of the traffic! The hotel is located in a very busy part of city and the traffic might disturb occasionally!

Exceptional value. Just needed somewhere to sleep after early arriving flight. The reception was open when we got there at 5am and they were expecting us. Interesting area to explore. Can’t go wrong. It’s not fancy but it’s clean and quiet. Recommend for a night.

Anyone from the UK don’t hesitate this place is amazing Staff are sound and so so cheap and only a 7 min Uber thag will cost you less than 3/4 quid into city centre lovely roof top bar area

Facility was nice and clean. staff was friendly and breakfast was good.

Room temperatures could get very hot throughout the day and night. The air conditioning in my particular room did not cool the room. Needed to open doors and windows just to remain cool.

Good affordable hotel less than 30' by foot from downtown, quiet at night, with all comfort for a short stay in Bucharest. Friendly people at the front desk to help anytime.

Breakfast is based mainly on vegetables, sweets are not really interesting, was missing a juice or any drink rather than coffee/milk.
