Friendly staff at the reception, free parking outside, a little stroll to the centre of Cluj.

The bathroom is a bit small. The room temperature was 28 degrees celsius when arriving, a bit too much for me even in winter time and the windows can't be opened at night because of traffic noise from outside. The breakfast selection was not very broad and surprisingly the music selection was 'techno' early morning.

This time was The thijs time to this hotel because it has rooms of quality and free parking places. 2 km to the city center. Nice bar and the Pastel restaurant. Coffee in the room.

At the moment the hotel is in renovations and only the roof type rooms are rented. Only 2 pillows. No water, the other 2 times I came was free water available this time in the room even more on the list with drinks only the sparkling water is mentioned you need to pay so I payed also for flat water. Just ask at the reception but even the reception lady, new she said, was confused and confusing.

The room we stayed was clean and almost new( furniture , bathroom products). They have an elevator and some parking lots.

At first we booked a standard room and the pictures from booking were nice( 4 star hotel), but we arrived at the property and the room from 2nd floor was not so great ( barely 2 star room) . We asked the reception to change the room and they showed us another room that was at 3rd floor and was ok. The hotel is on renovation and they started from the top. Probably in the end all the rooms will look ok. Close to the main road, and was not so quiet.

The view from the room that we had was amazing. The room was spacious and everything was clean and organized.

There isn't anything specifically that is necessary related to something that the hotel/staff could have done better. Just be aware that the hotel is 15 minutes away from Cluj Old Town. If you want to walk this distance, at night for example, the streets are empty (meaning like 7 or 8 PM), so I always took a cab back to the hotel. In only saw like 2 restaurants near the location of the hotel so maybe that would be something to consider. It all depends with whom, how and for what you are travelling.

Very friendly staff - always smiling and helpful. Very clean The beds were confortable - we slept very well. The pull out sofa was also quite confortable - our daughter had no problems what so ever. The room was quite big - we had a suite, so it was more like 2 rooms. We had enough space for a family of three. Very good breakfast - fresh and tasty. Free parking. Excellent WiFi - fast and stable. Close to city center - 10 minute walk

The hotel is situated on a busy street - lots of traffic - you can't fault the hotel on that. It is worth mentioning that the windows do a good job of keeping out most of the noise. A little more variety at breakfast would not hurt, especially more local produce like ham and cheese.

Helpful and nice staff, great location, clean room.

I asked if I could use my laptop in the restaurant, and they said it's not encouraged, even though I chose this hotel because the restaurant area looked comfy to perhaps do some work while I am drinking my coffee. Not to mention that for the whole time I was there, the restaurant was empty.

Room was comfy and well endowed. Hot water kettle present in the room. Comfortable beds. Free parking. Breakfast was good and the staff very polite.

The room from the attic has only roof-windows (but this is not a complaint, since I knew this from the beginning). Street noise can be sometimes a little bit disturbing in case you have a light sleep and/or windows are not properly closed. At the 4th floor, internet wifi signal was almost zero, I had to rely on the hotspot from my phone.

The Meridian hotel is freshly renovated and everything is spotless. The rooms are well heated during winter, the staff is very friendly and the location is reasonably close to city center.

There is some mild noise from the road, but the quality windows manage to block most of it.

Location perfect for acces to city centre, clean & quiet, confortable beds- even the soda bed is better than most hotel beds. Staff is incredible helpful

Can't really find anything they could improve- have not tried the breakfast so can't comment but will try next time

Good location. Parking not an issue. Room facilities ok.

The main issue I see is the smell in the bathroom, but fortunately they were seriously renovating last time I've been there. Bed mattresses can be improved also.
