Fantastic property in great location close to Radda in Chianti. The property itself was beautiful and just like the pictures. Restaurant food was pretty good and the wine was great. Lovely terrace to sit out on enjoy a relaxing vino as well.

The staff were not very helpful. Everything was a "no". We needed some extra hangers - "no". Extra pillows - "no". Want your room serviced - "no". I mentioned that we had come for a hotel resort experience but they said that because we booked an apartment room then facilities and services like breakfast and getting your room serviced each day were not included - even though hotel room guests received this and paid much less. Also there was no heating as the A/C nor the radiant heaters did not work. Pretty disappointing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5-night stay at Vila Campomaggio for our honeymoon. The property is exceptional, offering everything from a large swimming pool, a spa and sauna, to a beautiful garden terrace where you can enjoy the buffet breakfast or a relaxing aperitif. The atmosphere is peaceful, and the staff were always friendly and polite, making our stay even more special. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a garden suite with a private terrace overlooking the stunning valley. The room was absolutely gorgeous, and the bathroom featured a luxurious marble double shower, including a Turkish bath, which added an extra touch of indulgence. The location is fantastic, with close proximity to world-class wineries and gorgeous towns to explore. It made our experience even more enjoyable, as we were able to easily explore the surrounding area. Our stay at Vila Campomaggio was unforgettable, and we loved every moment. We can't recommend it enough!

A fantastic stay at Hotel Villa Campomaggio. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the place had such a quiet and calm atmosphere. The room was comfortable and clean, as was the spa, of which we got our money's worth. The pool and grounds were pristine and picturesque. They don't have a 'proper' restaurant, as the staff will clearly tell you, but we found it to be absolutely fine and ate there every night. It is mostly pasta, salads and salami/cheese/bread platters but after a pizza for lunch in Montepulciano or other essential destinations, we never felt hungry. Pro tip - it's a four minute walk to Tenuta Campomaggio where you can enjoy an equally private and calm wine tasting away from the tourists.

The two bedroom apartment was a great size, the bedrooms and living space were huge. The wellness centre was incredible with multiple saunas, spa, relaxing area with tea plus a decent size outdoor pool. The grounds of the property are beautiful, lots of areas to walk around or sit and watch the sunset with a coffee/ wine. The location was only a short drive to multiple small towns in the area, but you are best to have a car.

The kitchenette was very small and basic, though we managed as a group of 4. No cleaning or laundry facilities are included, this is all an additional cost which we thought was quite exorbitant.

Hotel was absolutely beautiful, we had the modern suite which was decorated amazingly and the lighting was great. The shower had a hammam setting too which was very cool! Staff were really helpful with recommending restaurants nearby and things to do. Wine was fantastic and could have drinks by the pool. Pool area was amazing and there were always loungers free.

Restaurant a little disappointing, it's the same as the lunch menu. Our bathroom had a glass door which was a little strange as it wasn't even the shower - just toilet! No coffee in the room :( Pool was very cold - even in the boiling heat, could do with being slightly heated. These were just little niggles overall amazing and would definitely go back!!

- Bare in mind that you will not likely get the room you chose on Booking - you book just a category. We were really upset to find out we have to stay in a completely different room to what we booked. But grateful to the staff for suggesting us the best solution. - The variety of food is not impressive in the restaurant. - Just a warning that there are lots of geckos, two of them lived in our room - we were fine with it but good to know ahead in case you have fobia

Being able to sit by the pool and look out over the vines is a special experience. We had a self contained apartment so had our own space which was great. There’s a winery, pool, spa and restaurant on site so you really could get the Tuscan experience without leaving if you wanted. It’s in the heart of Chianti region - you’ll need a car (obviously) and recommend a tour or a driver if you want to visit a few vineyards in one day.

Being an older property the dust set off my hayfever a lot (likely more a me problem than the property). The shower pressure could have been better. The living area of the apartment could have been a a bit more welcoming (3 couch seats and 4 people) but overall we loved it

Location close to Radda and several restaurant options, nice pool and spa/sauna setup at the hotel, also great to have a restaurant and bar onsite. This location is nice if you want to day trip into Florence. The hotel staff, especially Sabrina the manager, was very friendly.

The hotel itself is on the smaller side with pretty thin walls. At times, you can feel like there is not a lot of space amongst the guests in the common areas. Hotel staff was friendly but they were so busy and thinly-staffed that it was difficult to get assistance in booking wine tastings/reservations/other excursions.

This villa truly was stunning. While it’s not a winery itself, the vineyards in the neighboring property provide a stunning backdrop, along with the wide view of the rolling tuscan hillsides. The patios are spacious and quiet, perfect for relaxing with a book and a glass of wine. While it wasn’t warm enough for the pool, it looked gorgeous. The staff was very kind and helpful. The spa is also spacious and luxurious, and I received a great massage from Jessica. We stayed in a room across the garden from the main building and it was beautiful and huge, with a living room, large shower/bathroom, and spacious bedroom. The shower was a Turkish bath appliance that created a great deal of steam which was great to relax in. The restaurant was better than I anticipated, and we enjoyed delicious pastas, wine, and spritz’s. Very close to Radda in Chianti, and other wineries that we visited with our rental car.

The pillows on the bed were too full - not the end of the world, but I would have preferred a flatter option. Also, while the resort has robes, they’re not automatically provided for guests, I think you have to specifically ask for them.

Beautiful surroundings - super quiet and surrounded by lots of nature. The layout of the hotel is nice with a lot of serene outdoor seating areas. The room was huge - we booked a suite and it was massive which was great. We had a large living area with sofa, large bathroom and separate shower and a large bed. Dinner menu is not extensive but the food was fine. Super friendly and helpful staff!

The breakfast was nice but you had to choose between a set breakfast menu each morning which was either savoury or sweet as opposed to being able to mix and match what you wanted to eat. The bathroom door was just glass and looked into the shower so lacked privacy.
