Fantastic place for a short or long stay-the hotel is very well designed, everything feels brand new; the room is spacious, has a king size, super comfy bed; bathroom has a nice jacuzzi bathtub. The highlights of the hotel for me were the super friendly (and patient!) staff and the amazing breakfast-one of the best I had in the mountains, w/local organic locally sourced produce. The complimentary shuttle bus takes you to 2-3 closest slopes, while public ski bus stops 2-5 minutes from the hotel (depending on the direction) and takes you to Selva Val Gardena and Ortisei city center. I also highly recommend the walk to Ortisei centre which is 15 mins away, along the river. A nice (yet basic) spa is in the basement, w wet and dry sauna, a fireplace and relaxing area. The staff gave me a lovely take-home, hand-made gift which I loved-very thoughtful!

The dry sauna was not heated/hot enough to my standard. A bistro/dinner option would have been nice -perhaps something to add in the future.

Beautifully updated B&B. Spa facilities including sauna, steam room available. Amazing breakfast spread. Afternoon snacks also available and self serve bar/coffee available as well. Walking distance to city center with gondola or with a bus stop just outside the hotel.

We loved the staff, the breakfast, the tea time, the room, the hotel, and basically everything that was offered! The hotel is a quick 15-20 min walk from town, and we did not have a car and navigated it very easily. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and the staff was so accommodating. They also offer a free shuttle to and from the mountain for skiing so you don't have to lug all of your belongings with you. We also loved the sauna. Comfy bed, big room, great view. Would definitely go back! Very friendly and accommodating environemnt.

The steam room was broken but it was not a big deal.

Breakfast selection was amazing and perhaps the highlight of our entire 2 weeks trip! The room was also quite comfortable for two people and there is plenty of parking space even when coming back late at night. Location of the property is also great as it’s only a 5 minute drive away from both the Mont Seuc cable car (to Alpe di Siusi) and the cable car to Seceda.

There was no electric kettle in the room and the property does not have laundry facilities - the nearest laundry facility being at the Smart Hotel Saslong nearby (also under the Hartmann hotels group) which was quite costly and had a long queue. Would recommend using the commerical laundry facilities in the city centre instead as our clothes were still damp even after using the dryer for an hour. However…. A blessing in disguise from discovering Smart Hotel Saslong is the fact that they have a drinking water fountain which negated our need for an electric kettle!

Such a lovely hotel! So much to love…friendly and helpful staff, fabulous and plentiful breakfast buffet, lovely decor, very clean, honor system bar available, beautiful views, close to a bus route, close to trails, parking.

It is up a steep hill so to go anywhere in town you must go down and then back up, which may not be a problem but is important to know before you book. There IS a bus route to and from town if you don’t want to walk or drive.

Alina, her mother and another lady all provided my wife and I Outstanding service and assistance. The Hartmann and the Ortisei region is truly magical, lush green valley's, gorgeous trees, friendly people, cool weather, and beaufitul sites especially from the property (there's a heart-shaped water fall you can see from the patio) itself or higher up on the gondolas going to the Chalet Col Raiser hut and Seceda viewpoints We thought the views from Col Raiser were the best. We loved the full buffet breakfast, cappuccino's in the morning, fruit, yogurt, muesli cereals with hazelnuts, walnuts, figs, prunes and the small pasteries. The Hartmann is a very high class property, with an honor bar at night where you can sip your wine, Aperol Spritz or beer on the patio or sit in the chairs in the lounge, with light Jazz playing in the background. We even met some new friends from Kentucky. Beautiful, pleasant walk on the upper trail to get into Ortisei in 15 minutes. Very high quality pillows, sheets, and comforters. We will be back!

I would suggest to management to permanently retire that black rug in Room 122, where we stayed. It's an eyesore and a couple of times my wife almost tripped on it. If you absolutely need to have some type of carpet in the room, go with a light brown Berber carpet. Also we liked the map we picked up at the Resciesa-Seceda-Col Raiser gondolas better that the satellite view map we were given during checkin, the satellite view with the dark background was very difficult to read. Lastly, and this is not a negative, we looked at the Suite room and that's where we would stay next time. Our room and the bathroom were a little small and we saw the Suite room and it would be the perfect size for us.

The staff were amazing and very helpful. Hotel was clean and quiet with gorgeous decor and interiors and an amazing breakfast buffet (and a lovely afternoon tea also included). Sauna and Steam room fabulous- included (ie no extra fee). Lovely toiletries provided in the room. Spectacular views.

If I had to find something - I would say that despite the room having lovely big windows there was no fan/air con. Beds and bedding were quite warm and I would have liked some air flow/ cooling at night. That said, I would not let this stop me returning to Hotel Hartmann again.

Very spacious room with a convenient location. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was absolutely amazing and delicious with a huge spread. There is a sauna, which we unfortunately didn't get to use, but it looked nice from our brief walkthrough. Love the common room area, wich gave it a homey feel. Parking was easy and straightforward and the ski locker was convenient.

My only complaint is the layout of the room and the bathroom, which had very little counter space and was tight between the shower and sink. Pillows were super flat - I didn't request new ones because we were only around during off hours when the desk wasn't staffed. I'm sure I could have messaged and request for bigger pillows, but I was too busy snowboarding during the day, so that's on me.

Alena and staff were fantastic. We loved the self serve Bar, Coffee and Snacks (honesty system), Breakfast range was wonderful. The Hotel is situated about 15 min walk into the centre of town. It's a bit of a climb back to the Hotel by walk. If you have a car you can park near the centre of the town in a timed (free) car park which makes it a bit easier (buy a time marker at the Tabacchi - there's one in the middle of town) We didn't try the bus service, but we were provided with free tickets. The views were wonderful as we were high on a hill. The hotel is very clean and functional (we are fussy about cleanliness). The car parking is good and the common lounge area was lovely.

Overall we loved the Hotel. The only thing we could mark down a bit was, that we found the room a bit tight, but very clean and functional.

Honestly, we loved everything about this place!! It is fairly small, so we met and enjoyed wonderful conversations with the other guests. The breakfast was wonderful, they provided a delicious choice of snacks in the afternoon and had a well stocked honor bar/coffee bar. Chiara was so helpful each day with our planning and dinner reservations. Our room was beautiful and so large, basically a suite, and had beautiful views. I just can't say enough about our fantastic stay here!

I can't think of anything, except we couldn't stay longer!
