The room was large. I requested a quiet room/area of the hotel and was satisfied with the outcome. The room faced the interior of the building, with the window looking over the hotel restaurant. There were no surrounding rooms on either side. The hotel's location was good. It is close to transit but within walking distance (about 1.5 km) from Old Quebec, a central tourist area. The gym and pool are modern, well-maintained, and clean.

The bathroom was average in size, but the tub and vanity seemed outdated and could use some renovation. The outflow vent cover within the room was dirty.

The location is great in the summer. It's within walking distance to the old town. The walk is a bit hilly so it may not be for everyone but we enjoyed it. The area around the hotel can be a bit sketchy but overall we had no issues. There are supermarkets, convenience stores, and some great breakfast options all around. There is parking available on site for 32 dollars a night with in and out privileges. If you don't need in and out then I recommend parking in the building across the street from the entrance to the hotel. There is the indigo parking for $15 max per day and the CSQ building at the corner of du roi and Dorchester offers parking for $15 as well. We parked at CSQ and had no issues. It's underground and everything works as advertised. I'd park there again for sure.

Uncomfortable cheap pillows and the AC appears to be automated by the building system. I found the room a bit hot. There is no option to open windows nor to change the thermostat setting.

The reception and restaurant staff are super friendly and helpful! :) The room was very quiet and peaceful as the window looked out onto a small street and we were on the 4th floor. The room was very clean and well kept ;) The bed was very comfy. Although, the scent of the room was very pleasant, it was very strong and persistent when it was time to sleep. So we had to open the window to get some fresh air. Luckily, it wasn't stuck. The bathroom was spotless! There was plenty of coffee and tea provided in the room.

The hotel should have agreements with private parking for its guests. Because Best Western Plus has a very small one next to the building that is always "supposedly reserved". So, you have to look for parking ($$$) in the surroundings of St-Rock. At night, it was not pleasant for me to walk back to the hotel alone :(

We stayed here for five nights. The room was very neat and clean and of good size with two queen beds. The room was very silent, not any kind of noise we had quiet sleep on comfy beds with soft and comfortable pillows. We enjoyed delicious coffee by the coffee maker in the room. Provided Toiletories are enough and of good quality, even though they provide everything that we requested. They provided us with extra coffee, creams, and sweeteners on our demand. They cleaned the room daily and made beds. I must mention the best behavior of all receptionists. All the boys and girls at reception r very well behaved, welcoming, helpful, kind, and understanding. They treat their guests with a smile and respectfully. I for sure recommended this hotel for my stay again. The location is also very good, many restaurants, a few minutes walk, and grocery stores are also close. The bus stop is also a few minutes walk away. I am very happy with my stay here in this hotel. Thank you so much to all the staff for being so nice and kind during my stay. 💐

Spacious room. Comfortable bed. Friendly, helpful staff. We arrived in Quebec City early AM so it was exceptionally helpful to have our luggage labelled and placed in the storage room. Because of this we were able to tour around and visit the old walled city which we enjoyed very much. Since we only had a few hours, this would not have been possible otherwise. Thank you sincerely to the staff for their help.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience. The accommodation was comfortable, and I particularly enjoyed having the window open for fresh air. It made the room feel fresh. Although we found the price to be on the higher side, we understand that it was a holiday period and we made a late booking, which limited our options. Breakfast was ok, though I would have loved to see more healthier options available. We also had the pleasure of dining at the nearby restaurant, Le 101. The dish with quail and potatoes was absolutely fabulous! Unfortunately, it closes on Sundays, so we couldn't enjoy that wonderful meal again during our stay. We truly appreciated the hospitality and service provided by the hotel!

The room was adequate and clean. The first night we were given a room on the ground floor, with windows to the street behind the hotel 😒 It also smelled of cigarettes. The staff was very accommodating and moved us to a fifth floor room the next day. It was much better. The hotel was close to public transportation, 2 blocks away from a bus station hub. It was also within walking distance of several restaurants.

Breakfast was not included but there was a "breakfast only" restaurant in the lower level. It was a la carte. It is located about 25 to 30 minutes walking distance from downtown Quebec.

Location A lot of restaurants close to the hotel, also a metro if you want to buy things like water or chips, etc 20 min walk to old Quebec Room is big Staff at the recepción very nice and welcoming

One day they did not clean the room, when I called to ask the reason, the person at the reception tells me that it must be that I put the notice not to disturb, I explained to him that that was not the situation, he told me that they were already going to send someone to make the bed and clean, Then I left for an hour so that they could do the cleaning (despite the fact that I had been all day out of the hotel) when I returned the room was still the same, I called the reception again and I left again another hour while waiting for them to clean the room, they just laid out the bed and put more towels, they did not take out the garbage or cleaning was done.

We were looking specifically for this location (St Roch) and needed a place to keep our rental car as well so this one fit quite well. This hotel had just enough features for us without going overboard on extras (nice lobby but not extravagant; nice room but not lavish; front desk with bilingual staff; quiet street). It’s very convenient for driving also, which made it very easy to get around.

I wish this hotel adopted a more environmentally friendly approach to bathroom amenities such as refillable shampoo/conditioner/body soap and a message about not replacing towels with clean ones if unnecessary.

We traveled with bikes and a rack. The hotel kindly stored our bikes (I wish they listed this as a service). The lot was open (not a garage), so there was no issue with a roof rack, but it was pretty tight and we would have struggled to maneuver our van into some of the spots. Staff was very kind. Location was good for us - a 30 min walk to the boardwalk, including a few hills and stairs - but would have been impossible with a stroller, young kids or mobility issues.

The headboards in our room (an awesome family room with two queens and a sofa bed) were peeling. If you’re picky about those things, this might not be the right place.
