Lovely place & clean. Staff were excellent

The beach it opens onto is a pebble beach, not the hotels fault but location wise if you wanted to go to the beach it wasn’t the best We just stayed in the hotel by the pool instead which was lovely

Spa was great, and the size of the room was pretty decent, with a nice view and balcony

Location isn't great, there were no restaurants/bars around, the only closest one was closed. It didn't help that all restaurants in the hotel were closed, only the buffet was available. Understandable considering it wasn't peak season, but still, there were no other options around so it was a bit restricted.

Fabulous hotel with fantastic staff all very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great and the facilities were top notch.

It's a little too isolated if you want to go to Altea old town walking but taxis are available. Poolside bar is quite expensive

Big and nice hotel on the sea shore. The breakfast was pretty good and all the rest of the restaurants in the hotel were good as well. The room was very big. There was a big balcony, safe box, shower and bath in the room. Nice restaurants and supermarket is located nearby the hotel. Also, there is a big parking lot just in front of the reception.

There is a stone beach near the hotel. Therefore, if one likes a sandy beach, that might be an issue. As an alternative, travel to nearby towns with sandy beaches or stay near the pool. The famous tram was not in service during my stay. However, one may use bus or taxi. Taxi to Calpe is ~15 EUR

The food and buffet were great, the service staff 10! We enjoyed the Italian man who was quite attentive. The food was better than we expected.

There was no way to connect to Netflix or any other internet app on the television! This is the first time in our many many travels that this has happened. It made the “relaxing” part of the stay a little less relaxing. There was also strange stains and leaks in parts of the hall. But overall I would say that it was acceptable especiallly being off season. It’s a bit far off from Altea itself but if you have a car it’s not bad.

Hotel excellent as were staff. Lovely views and food in restaurant was of a high standard.

Lack of choice of retaurants. While buffet food was of a high standard no other options were available.Disappointed that the Asian restaurant was closed for our stay. Lobby bar was fine but lacked atmosphere as one felt they were sitting in the Hotel lobby.A little piped music or a pianist would have been welcome. I had heard good reports about your Purple Rain Bar and again was disappointed to learn that it has been permanently closed. For a 5 star rated hotel there should be more choice for dining and having a drink. Otherwise a pleasent stay.

Lovely clean hotel. Generous size room. Very helpful catering and hotel staff.

Slightly disappointed that due to it being low season, non of the restaurants were open for dinner ( except for a limited three course set menu). Also given the very limited number of guests and the fact that could only have a very limited room service menu I asked if I could use the steam room for 10 mins after my morning swim and was told no , that this would cost 40€ for a full spa session. I thought I’d was a little mean minded of the staff - understandable if busy but only me in the whole pool/spa ….

Loved the large bedrooms, view, swimming pools. Any problems were quickly resolved. Great pool bar!!

Think the hotel needs to be mindful that they are encouraging families but don’t let any toys in the pool area. There are 3 pools so I think it would be reasonable for the top pool to be child friendly. Also the bathrooms and bedroom furniture could do with updating. Lastly the hot food at breakfast was usually cold but we went for the many other options.

Loved the pools, and grounds. Overall lovely Hotel. Let down by the buffet food, and the 35 euro evening meal. Lack of choice for 35 euro, and all buffet food was cool, not piping hot as hot food should be. Food not up to standard for 5 star Hotel, in my opinion. We have eaten much better food in other local Hotels, that were 3 or 4 star. Staff fantastic, but food needs improving.

The hotel is stunning, the breakfast staff were excellent. They worked very hard to keep everything flowing nicely and were friendly and always helpful. The reception staff were also excellent. We had a fabulous 10 day stay and would have stayed longer if we could… next time we will ! The family enjoyed using the pool. The breakfast room was extremely attractive with beautiful Christmas decorations on the food counters. A lot of attention to detail which was impressive. The foyer was stunning with beautiful Christmas decorations also. Our room overlooking the pool was spacious and very comfortable - the view gorgeous and the shower was superb with good pressure. The hotel had noted that my son’s birthday was on Christmas Day and to our surprise that evening when he returned to his room the hotel had left a bottle of champagne and a cake for him - incredible thoughtful! And also I had my two very small grandchildren staying in the hotel and they were also given gifts. On Christmas Eve we decided to have room service with the whole family and the waiter who came set up the room for us could not have made it more special with white table cloths etc and a huge smile!

There was absolutely nothing that we did not like. Whatever we needed was attended to swiftly such as the room safe was faulty and the problem was sorted right away. Nothing was too much trouble for the reception staff who were friendly and extremely efficient ….
