This 700-year-old farmhouse is a true gem, unforgettable experience that will stay with you long after you've left. The house itself is a marvel of history, with thick stone walls, beamed ceilings, and original features that speak of centuries gone by. But despite its age, the home has all the modern conveniences you'd expect including bathrooms and comfortable bed. The property is surrounded by stunning natural beauty with rolling hills and olive groves. As night falls, the gardens around the house are filled with fireflies, which put on a mesmerizing show as they dance among the trees. And if you go up to the terrace, you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the Florentine valley which will sparkle with lights in response to fireflies.

Location is wonderful, room is clean and hustle and bustle of city life seems far away. Dinner was good and staff is friendly.

You have to manage expectations. This is an agroturismo, so if you expect the full amenities and a copious breakfast of a 4* hotel, you'll be disappointed. If you seek piece and quit in a secluded and simple surrounding, this could be for you. Breakfast however could be better, it is too simple.

At first we thought that we wouldn’t like the room, but in the end it turned out to be one of the most interesting hotels where we spent the night. Location, nature, silence, staff, ancient building, good fittings in the rooms, the bed, although old and creaks a little, is very comfortable. Breakfast was simple but delicious. And I especially want to recommend their homemade wine. I still regret that I took only one bottle and not more.

The smell of cigarettes lingers in the room from time to time. I don’t know who smoked and where...

Very old - historical - from 14th century. Offered evening meal (at extra cost) served under the stars. Excellent paella and special dessert!

Lots of cats! One member of our party had to rent a room elsewhere because of his severe allergy to cats. Rest of us stayed and enjoyed our time there. Room was smaller than used to but probably normal for the time it was made.

The staff are excellent, friendly, helpful, and cook incredible meals. Our request for vegetarian food was no problem at all, and we got such great tasty home cooked food, it was by far one of the best meals we have eaten in Italy. The location is amazing with views over Firenze. And the lovely local cats, and dogs, were just as friendly.

The road to the property can be a bit of a challenge for larger cars.

Amazing location up on the hill overlooking La Spezia. Bonus access to the pool up the road was very welcome. Simple kitchen with all we needed to cook breakfast lunch and dinner. Good restaurant recommendations locally. Tip: go to Porto Venere and enjoy the relative peace compared to Cinque Terre with summer tourists!

Mattresses were a bit soft for 2 singles together for us.

Incredible location with incredible view. We are onsite and explored the hillside and enjoyed our time here. It is very historical and the furnishings are as well. My only minor complaint is that there has clearly not been a deep clean in a while. Lots of cobwebs and dust in the corners and on the furniture.

Magical place in the mountains . Very artistic bedrooms using lots of colour and quirky designs. Beautiful meal cooked by grandma in the evening. Alessio, the host was very helpful...especially when my direct debit card was declined for the meal! Allowed me to pay what I had in cash...about 10 euros short. Very kind gesture...

The place is cosy, calm, quiet and a very nice price. Very clean and the staff is friendly. Really enjoyed dinner, it was a wonderful evening to chill out in the garden. No rush, just enjoy. The main bed is very good, the additional not that comfortable. Don't be impressed by the old style photos. It is a very good place.

Very nice, rustic farmhouse. We enjoyed its quiet location. The food in the restaurant was also ok.

It was a busy evening in the restaurant and it was a full chaos. They were keep forgetting parts of our order. We can‘t speak Italian, so they couldn‘t really understand us. The breakfast was very small with little variety.
