Best location in Seychelles. Great beach, perfects views from every room, it feels like being in a family and staying all together. The clients would always greet each other and talk to each other. The space provides a complete feeling of zen. After two days there we felt as if we had spent 20 years in a sort of meditation. Best place to escape the world. There is a really good restaurant just by the hotel. It is the only one on the beach (spolier: normal situation in any beach on the island, there may be no restaurants at all on the beach or 1 or 2). For a longer stay just try their whole menu )) It is the best place we ate in among 5 total. If you don't rent a car (the roads are really narrow, it is not comfortable), the bus 5 stops near the hotel and allows you to visit all the most common and interesting places. We stayed in April, I'd say the best would be go to the Takamaka beach in the morning (Bus 5 ;-) and go to the beach in front of the hotel in the evening.

The customer service employee mislead us, saying it was impossible to access anywhere on the island without a car and some other things which finally turned into split our stay and move to a different place to compare. It was a mistake, which I will regret a lot of time yet. We've visited 5 different beaches around the island, stayed in another modern spot (Anse Royal Beach) and we've never get again that zen feeling we had felt at the hotel. So wait and think twice whatever is your first impression. And as stated in the "+" section it is very easy to move around by bus #5, there is an app you can download and use to see its schedule.

The view from our room and the location in general were fantastic. The hotel location is a short walk to the beach and a nice restaurant, which we at at every evening. This is a relatively simple and affordable option on an expensive island and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

The STAFF is very professional and friendly. Since the beginning of the booking, Charles helped us organizing everything and gave us the best tipps to explore the surroundings. Also Kawidu and Tiline were super friendly and even cooked for us one night! It was fantastic! You feel warmly welcome here! Don't forget to leave some tipp for them as they really live from it! The LOCATION is amazing. If you want to avoid the touristic north and enjoy the real feeling of the island, then this is the perfect place to be. The HOTEL is very clean. Simple decoration with everything you need. The VIEW from all the rooms is STUNNING!! All services in the room as listed on booking with a plus: you don't even need a converter as the plug-ins are already international! To get to your apartment you need to do some stairs - but Kawidu and Tiline always help with the luggage. ANIMALS & NATURE: If you love nature you will love this place. The beach is just 3min walking and there you can find a wonderful spot for snorkeling and meeting friendly dogs walking around. The hotel itself has a lot of cats, all of them super lovely and happy to get some leftovers from your breakfast ;) And at the evening don't forget to sit on your terrace and enjoy the beautiful and big bats flying around! :) FOOD & BEVERAGE: there is a Restaurant just down the street where you can have lunch and dinner. Just ask Charles for more suggestions if you want to change location. Breakfast is very good and fresh. We really loved everything! Thank you so much for all the love you put in your work!

Our stay at Lazare picault hotel was lovely. No amount of money we paid can beat the view we had. However I will warn others as this hotel may not be accessible for some, you will have to climb a lot of stairs to get to your room. But at the end of it when you reach upstairs we you are welcomed everyday with a stunning view. The room itself was great and had good a/c . The balcony was also a super since made use of it we had most of our meals watching the sunset. The wifi in our room was very weak , the reception staff did warn us ahead of time. The wifi is strongest in hotel lobby. For us though that was a non issue as we didn’t spend much time on wifi. The beach is just in front of you, the best beach in the area. In morning breakfast was great, also the variety was perfect and very tasty. Overall we loved our stay and I would book this hotel again 100% when we return to Seychelles.

Wifi weak , stairs too many.

An excellent view from the room (even better than in the photos). We highly appreciated the "all-you-can-eat yet almost zero-waste" breakfasts with diverse tropical fruit. When we had full-day trips, the hotel staff gave us food packages. Our room was always well-cleaned. There were not any problems with the water.

A large amount of insects (flies, mosquitos), especially during some evenings when it was difficult to stay on the balcony (this is, of course, location-related). For elderly people, it might be difficult to climb up the steep path to the hotel. Drivers might be surprised on the first day as well.

First of all we've loved the location where the hotel is situated - Baie Lazare. There is a very nice beach (in 5 minutes walking distance from your room) where you can see sunsets, enjoy walking under the palm trees, and swim. From the room balcony (we had room #5) you have an amazing view to the ocean, mountains, and the beach. Not far from the hotel (about 10 mins by car) you can find the best beaches on the island: Anse Intendance, Anse Soleil, Anse Louis, etc. and the best restaurants: Le Reduit, Anchor Cafe, La Gaulette, etc. Hotel staff is extremely hospitable and you will definitely feel like a welcome guest.

It would be great to have a desk in the room where you can comfortably work on your laptop. Actually there is a sofa and an armchair with a small table in the room and also some chairs with a small table on the balcony, but they are mostly for relaxing and not for work.

This place is exceptional. The hotel is located along a coast road, near a big beach. The hotel houses have found a place on the slope of a small cliff giving the excellent view on the Baie Lazare bay. In fact, there is only a hotel, the ocean and you. This is a wonderful feeling that there are no crowds of tourists and noisy places around so you can just rest and enjoy the nature. The hotel is held by a family. The staff of the hotel helps you with anything you need, you can take a transfer or an excursion or just nicely talk to them. The rooms are actually small houses, where you have all required facilities. We lived in a room 7, and that's probably a lucky number, the view was perfect :) You may enjoy a company of nice cats that live on the hotel's territory. They are polite and fluffy. There is approximately 1.5km to Takamaka beach and 6km to Anse Intendance (both beaches are unique and highly recommended to visit). If you don't use carsharing, you may ask the hotel staff to taxi you here or just take a bus (the stop is just 5 mins of walking). The beach near the hotel is quite good to walk along the water or for swimming, when the tide is high. Also, some people try to do surfing or snorkeling. The breakfast is delicious and satisfying, and for lunch and dinner you may come to the La Gaulette restaurant just in front of the hotel. We enjoyed staying here so much. We've been to other hotels on Mahe and La Digue before coming there, and that place was definitely the best among our choices. And we will definitely come back!

The weak spot is the bathroom, it's a bit old, with a boiler system. Sometimes you have to wait some time to have hot water, or, on the opposite side, you may get hot water instead of the expected cold because it was warmed in tubes by the sun. Actually, this is not a huge problem when you are in tropics.

The view from the balcony is really astounding. And it’s awesome to have a beach right in front of the hotel. Furthermore i think it’s very convenient that Baie Lazare seems to be an ending point for several bus lines which makes travelling by bus easier.

At the time being i was the only guest in the hotel for three nights which was really weird. But the guys from the staff were very friendly and provided me with everything i needed. They even prepared a breakfast for early checkout.

Fantastic place: view from the terrace is beyond any expectation, beautiful; location is superb: there is a bus stop near the hotel, great beach in front, very good restaurant just a couple of steps; room is spacious and clean; breakfast is delicious; we used to go to the beach of 4 seasons hotel - anse petite - splendid beach, just 1 hour walk; can't not to mention a group of adorable kittens that live in this hotel; everyone is very helpful and friendly; 10 out of 10;

View was out of this world. The photo's did'nt do the surroundings justice in my view. Very lush in greenery,romantic,can see why my daughter chose this location. Staff at the hotel we're so understanding with the Wedding guests toing and throwing backwards and forwards from Kepinski Hotel to Lazare Picault and the Villa also. The taxi service,what can I say,they were absolutely brilliant, so much patience and understanding, nothing was to much trouble for them, they looked after the Wedding guests like royalty, and we're tourist guides also.The whole experience was fabulous.What more can I say, but a very big thank you to all and everyone of you.

The only thing what I would say was that there were no foot paths and lighting at night on the main road and found it quite intimidating and scary.
