The hotel is ideally placed for Janosikova Gorge and the Vratna trek. The view outside the room was beautiful towards the mountains, the temperature around the hotel was brilliant. The wifi speed, the food service breakfast was brilliant. The spa though small was sufficient for a short stay and after a long day's trek. The breakfast was amazing to start the day with and the all day free coffee, tea and water was awesome. Even the restaurant for meals was perfect, though sometimes repetitive around all the restaurants in the area. Try the Vrsky dark /black beer when in the hotel - it pairs well with the Diery styled Pork Schnitzel.

the bathroom in the hotel is really small, I mean really small. The hotel doesn't have any lifts, which means the elderly need to climb 3 flights of stairs if they are accompanying family.

Breakfast, reception and location was excellent also wellness exceeded our expectations with functional hot tubs, three different types of sauna. There were only few people except us in the wellness so it felt also pretty private, not overcrowded.

For my liking beds were bit uncomfortable, mattress was too hard to sleep on the side, and also on double bed there was relatively large gap between the two mattresses. Frame of the bed was bit strange, constantly hurting our legs while getting of the bed.

Everything was perfect. The staff was nice and helpful. The hotel is well located, especially if you want to go explore gorges Janosikove Diery situated in Mala Fatra- one of the most beautiful hiking trails in Slovakia. The family compact room wasn't very big but it was equipped in everything you need for a short stay. And the breakfast was really tasty. The kinds corner is also a good idea.

The restaurant in the hotel was overrated.

Property had all the activity and comfort a family needs for a great vacation! We enjoyed the common room, spa and proximity to hiking trails. Restaurant serving Slovakia cuisine was much appreciated, too! Staff was perfect and helpful all the time!

Perfect location for hiking, wellness is great after a long day hiking, discount from Restaurant prices. Free parking within the gates (for non hotel guests it is €15 for a day), stuff was very helpful and speak English.

Single room was basic, but OK, balcony was very dirty, looks like it has not been cleaned for a while.

Location is perfect to go hiking - the trail starts directly next to the hotel. Room was big enough for family with the baby, comfortable beds, nice view from the balcony. Super tasty breakfast. Restaurant in the same building with local cuisine - big portions, meals are good to have after the hike. Spa is just great😊

Both doors (to the apartment and to the bathroom) were creaky, but it didn't affect the total impression

Nice and comfortable hotel in a beautiful location, right next to hiking trails. The wellness with different Sauna spaces are a treat and the breakfast offers many tasty options.

Would not recommend the massage, as the service does not match the price required. The restaurant is good , but the menu lacks options and there is usually strong smell of oil in the room corridors.

I went to 7 hotels during my last impromptu roadtrip. This hotel ended up being the best out of all of them, so I felt obliged to write a review. Beds were comfortable and the room was large enough (I'm almost 2m & 105kg), I'd even say that the living room was a bit too large compared to the bedrooms, because you don't really end up using the living room a lot. One of the best facilicites here is the wellness center, 2 jacuzzis and 3 saunas sounds simple but it's really all you need and it beat what all the other hotels had to offer, even though all of them were in the same price category. Good breakfast with a lot of choice, basically a 20m long table with more foods than I could try out, and I think I cleared at least 5 plates. Also nice to leave the coffee machine on 24/7, it's such a simple thing but really adds to the comfortable experience of such a place. Staff was extremely helpful. As I mentioned, I went on this roadtrip without much preparation, but I did know that I came here to hike. So I asked the staff for a route and how to get there and they were all extremely helpful.

An absolute win to travel in an off season, the staff was no less invested but I could enjoy the wellness and common spaces in peace. The hotel is in a convenient location and everything you can think of is arranged for your maximum comfort whether you are on a romantic getaway or a family vacation.

Great value for money. The hotel was very clean, comfortable and offered great breakfast. The staff was also very nice; especially one of the ladies working at the reception who gave as a lift to Vrátna.

The water pressure in the showers was low, but not a big issue.
