The location is perfect! Close to the river and also to the main points of sightseeing. There are also many shops close to the hotel. The employees are very polite and helpful and it was a real pleasure to interact with them. We were waited even if we arrived late by flixbus, we ate a lot of delicious food from the menu and we received precious advice and recommendations. The room was clean and nice. The wifi worked perfectly. Because it was rainy and cold at the departure, the reception called a taxi for us in order to get in time for the flixbus. They also have a small storage room for luggage in case you have to check out but you leave later. I will definitely choose this hotel again if I return to Maribor.

Lovely small hotel on “Lent” right by the fast-flowing Drava River, 100m up from the famous oldest living grape vine. Very close to the old town-centre. Friendly staff. Small-ish room, but it had a double bed, TV, compact bathroom (the hot water in the shower was hot and plentiful - no pressure issues or anything - I had a nice shower), a small bar fridge (empty) and enough space to unpack - loads of storage space for the longer term visitor. The lift worked very well, and the stairs up to the third floor were quite manageable for the able-bodied. Nice breakfast with cereal, fruit, yogurt, cured cold cuts (sliced cold meats) and cheeses, coffee ok (pods), and some juice options, tea too I would guess. I booked Hotel Lent the night before on price and location after searching a few options for this spur-of-the-moment decision to go to Maribor from Vienna by train, and it was the best price and location for me. Hotel Lent was much, much nicer than I expected. The restaurant/cafe outside is very pleasant to sit at and have a coffee and watch people stroll by and the River Drava right beside you, a very scenic promenade - I did this twice - once when I arrived to see where my hotel was, and upon leaving yesterday. The coffees I had were very nice, and both waiters were friendly and fast. I would thoroughly recommend Hotel Lent for singles or a couple for it’s location and price.

The hotel is in the city centre, yet the rooms are quiet and peaceful. Everything is within a 15 minute walk. Breakfast is plentiful and of good quality. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel has its own parking. They send you directions on whatsapp with google maps which is very helpful. You have to pay for parking everywhere in the city, so having your car in place and safe and you can see it from your window is worth the daily rate, which they charge very fairly and if you check out and leave a few hours later they don't charge you extra for it. So cool place, if I go to the conference next year I will stay here again.

Location was ideal as it's on the edge of the city centre and the river Drau. Easy to find. Very friendly staff! The owner/proprietor even gave us a lift to the bus station on the 20 June as the taxi he booked didn't turn up. So, really helpful. Hotel clean, comfy and everything one needs to have for a short stay.

The breakfast was slightly different. The person in charge on the 20 June seemed to be rather uninterested and not friendly. No eggs were offered at the breakfast - if there was an eggs menu we weren't informed about it. But overall no problem, as we had to leave for another exploration of the city anyway.

Nice hotel and in an excellent location. Beautiful spot by the river. We arrived very early and were allowed into the room as it was raining heavily. Very nice gesture and a great help to us. The hotel is clean, the rooms are compact and tidy. The staff are very helpful and friendly. It's right next to the main square and an ideal location for exploring Maribor. Breakfast is nice, although a little basic. If you wish to visit Maribor then this hotel is recommended.

The air con was a little awkward to figure out.

The hotel is located right on the riverside of Drava. After you have your coffee and breakfast right next to the old bridge, you just make a few steps and you find yourself on the new wooden bridge, admiring the colorful Maribor. The old city center is also nearby, the parking lot is right next to the hotel (under the bridge). The staff was very friendly and helped us also with getting access with the car in that central area of the city were the hotel is located.

Nothing to complain about.

This small hotel is part of the Old Town of Maribor.  It sits in a row of buildings along a boulevard parallel to the river Drava -  a quarter for pedestrians, with bars and restaurants.  Hotel and the surrounding structures show history but they are modernized in an unobtrusive way. It is easy to overlook the hotel, I had to look twice. Inside, I was received friendly and professionally. The interior is up to date and on the good side of functional, the breakfast room is a jewel - all in all: Good value for money, and in the center of Maribor's life.

I really liked the helpful staff who told me how to get from the hotel to the University of Maribor; printing out needed receipts for my faculty, etc. The hotel is so centrally located that I was able to reach all my destinations in Maribor easily.

I was quite satisfied with the breakfast, but they could have added a little variety in cold cuts. But I can't say I didn't like the breakfast, especially since it kept me going until I had a late lunch or supper.

The location is good, a short walking distance to town center square

The breakfast were a little to "minimalistic" and to shower you had to stand in a bathtub with no shower curtain. No free parking and a bit tricky to get to the hotel parking, that's a walking street the last bit so you have to drive to the barrier and call the hotel from an intercom on a pole to let your car in. Also Google maps didn't had the correct instructions for the last part, left you of at the bridge passing over the hotel

I arrived quite late and the reception was open until 10PM (it is a family-owned hotel so this is not that unusual). The owner himself waited for me until 11PM and when I finally arrived he let me know about all the details while being extremely nice and helpful. I stayed for two nights for a business so I haven't stayed in the hotel very much, but the position is excellent – on the river promenade – and everything is within walking distance. Rooms are nice, they are not spectacular but you shouldn't expect a 5* experience and you won't be disappointed. I will surely stay here next time I'm in Maribor.
