The view is amazing. Location very central for running, walking, swimming, dinning and a sundowner either at a restaurant or at Gordon's Beach lodge. The host Peet made us feel like we are part of the family. He specially did a Kabeljou for us on the braai. His wife Tanya made very nice side dishes too. The rest of the staff consist of one girl who really go above and beyond like Peet. In between loadshedding making breakfast and coffee. Rooms are big with everything one needs. From a welcome sherry to candles in the bathroom.

The hospitality and open armed friendliness was top rate. Home away from home. Very very beautifully decorated in excellent taste. Absolutely loved it.

Please note that I will definitely come again to this excellent lodge but and the distance from Cape Town I could live with, it is just not clear on booking.com that the distance is from Gordon Bay Centre and not Cape Town centre. So some uber/bolt (taxi app) did not want to drive there from the city center in the late night and it took a while to find a ride in. Use the host and staff to help you by phoning their guy, and all will be well and good. The lodge is good value which compensates for the price of the taxi and the days you need to chill in the area, Gordon's Bay lodge area is truly calm, reenergizing, excellent and breathtakingly gorgeous and the lodge itself is top notch.. I will most certainly come again.

The idyllic location with amazing view on a beautiful sandy beach. The spaciousness and comfort of the room. The bathroom with huge bath as well as powerful shower. The decor. The ability to warm up my own meals. The friendliness and helpfulness of manager and staff. I felt safe and peaceful for the first 4 nights.

Unfortunately my last night was disturbed by a lot of coming and going with loud voices right outside my room, and at one point, someone trying to open my door! I would suggest asking all guests to respect other guests' need for rest.

The property is well suited, with just a stone throw from the beach. The host is an amazing, pleasant, and welcoming gentlemen. Cleaning staff shares the same traits. The room is well equipped with little additional touches that just helps differentiate itself from the rest

Great location less than 5 minutes walk to old harbour and Thirsty Oyster pub! Nice friendly staff and a good breakfast included in the room rate. Also a nice view of the ocean from the communal area, with a bar and small plunge pool.

The property was well appointed, the room was beautifully furnished and the bed was very comfortable. The property manager was very attentive to our needs and she was lovely to deal with. The breakfasts were superb.

Very nice host,i felt like a home and the one big family. Very clean the room, coffee/tea / water are unlimited. The bed was good. The host made amazing dinner such as: braai and home pizza. i felt very comfortable and welcome, wish the best for the host! many kisses and hugs from Russia :)

The view, the location, the swimming pool, Taryn as host was exceptional and it felt like being part of the Beach lodge family! A most enjoyable stay and I hope to visit Godon’s beach Lodge again.

Breakfast was excellent On time.friendly atmosphere.i was how to navigate my way.eg going to shops.my guest were welcomed. Nice fire prepared for them.utentils provided.host very friendly to my guest.
