Beautiful grounds and well-appointed rooms. Superlatively comfortable and very peaceful.

Undercover parking would be preferable.

Location was good and it was easy to navigate to the property. Room was clean and comfortable with no external noises that bothered. Breakfast was not included in our stay but we had breakfast at the restaurant and it was all good.

The hotel sent a message and 2 emails requesting that I should click on a link to make payment. I felt that the booking was confirmed with the terms to make payment on site. It is not likeable to receive those kind of messages while travelling and I am also not going to take the risk to click on a link on my phone to make a payment. It seemed that most of the guests at the pool was non-hotel residents.

Breakfast and location superb

Our early supper at The Bistro on the Saturday evening was pleasant but marred by the surly service of the young White staff member when we paid the bill. Our waiter had disappeared and we went to the desk to pay. The service was everything but friendly and courteous, this after telling him that he had omitted a dessert from the bill. We could have left without paying for the dessert and he appeared irritated at having to total up the bill again.

The room are very spacious, recently update with very high standards of quality and comfort. The restaurants are very good and the stuff are very professional and welcoming. I would like to mention Meryl Herman the reservations Manager, she was exceptional. Also the location is spot on! I will be back soon for sure!

the style of the hotel is uniquely beautiful, classy and soo homely!

the property is too open for the public especially the bistro where they serve breakfast for the guests, locals come with their pets (e.g dogs) for breakfast and cause they’re unruly I feel this is disturbing of guests that are there seeking less disturbance of animals they have left at home!

From the moment we arrived to this bustling hotel we were greeted warmly and treated courteously. The room was huge ! with two separate bathrooms, one with a shower in it and one with a bath in it ( the bath was quite short but still lovely ) Food at this hotel is sublime - you definitely need to eat at "Blanko" and the cafe. It is a safe, short 10 min walk to a small mall if you need supplies. I never got to the Spa or did the forest trail but will hopefully get a chance to do both when we stay again ;-0

Nothing i didn't like. Other hotel people need to stay here so they can learn what to do to make a guest feel welcome and at home. Their chef's need to give lessons;-) If I had to be picky I would say that the only thing that put me off initially is the crowds of people at the front of the hotel ... i soon realised that it was patrons trying to get into the cafe to eat.

Breakfast was reasonable but there was construction work going on at the entrance. Area was a bit cramped inside due to weather. Had to request a refund as overcharged in restaurant. Didn’t appreciate waiter suggesting we tip him.

More parking spaces for guests.

The staff were amazing. We visited for one night, for my partner's birthday. As we parked and were immediately greeted by name by Haley, who promptly wished my partner a happy birthday and after a swift check-in took us on a tour of the grounds. We arrived to our room which totally exceeded expectations - a lobby, two bathrooms, contemporary and sophisticated interior, amazing bed and view of the garden - and to top it off, a birthday cake and a hand-written card. We spent the afternoon at the pool with margaritas and tapas (the Incognito bar opens at 4pm, but they served us early - the salt and pepper baby squid, as well as the fried artichokes, are a must try), before heading to dinner at Blanko, for an excellent meal. Breakfast at La Belle was delicious (perfect eggs benedict), and we finished with a pedicure and a massage at the new Alphen Spa. 10 out of 10!

Property shares space with other businesses so doesn’t feel 100% secluded, (not that it really matters) try get the garden facing rooms

room was huge, clean and very comfortable. Good amenities and a sofa so comfortable to lounge as well. Secure parking and a choice of great restaurants on site
