Everything,my stay was awesome from the time I checked in

There was a confusing with booking with you. I thought I had already paid a deposit to booking.com because that is what the confirmation said.only to find out that I needed to paid the full amount when I was checking in. Secondly,my breakfast was only for one person which was confusing for me because the booking was for two people,and it was not clear on my booking that the breakfast is only for one person.

The fact that I was never told that I have to insert card for lights to be on stayed for more than an hour thinking it loadshedding....

The entire experience was superb. It would take a while to write down all the things I enjoyed but I shall list a few that really stood out: 1. The warm reception on arrival by the staff at the reception area. 2. The room was very beautiful, spacious, and clean. 3.The breakfast and dinner options were great, and food tasted really good. 4. Parking was easily accessible 5. The Spa treatment was very refreshing and enhanced my experience at Coastlands Musgrave Hotel.

The only thing I disliked was that I had to wait between 30 minutes to an hour to receive an iron after I had telephonically made a request from the reception area.

The staff are super friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond to make you comfortable. We had dietary requirements and the chef was exceptional. She made us delicious meals. The room is comfortable and serviced daily. The manager is always around to assist and help with any issues. The waitresses treat you like family. A special thank you to Chef Prishell, the manager Mr Moodley, Himesh at reception and Goodness, our favorite waitress. The hotel is in the perfect location, close to everything.

When we arrived the initial receptionist we dealt with, Letanya was not friendly and accommodating at all. She was rude when we asked for a room change as a bath shower was not suitable for my mum. However we never had to deal with her again and everyone else was fabulous.

The location - very loud with road The lights were not all working - Maintenance needs to fix as lighting was a bit poor The room service - the guy uncovered my food before i opened the door and did not give me food covered even when indicating to him - He did apologise though which I found to be a redeeming act on his behalf The breakfast is okay but can we not be given warms up from yesterday's buffet dinner.. WIFI not signal not strong

Accommodation was fantastic, however upon next visit will chose a room with a balcony for more comfort & experience. Parking undercover was great & well monitored by security.

The room allocated was next to a small court year area which had , it seems workers that stay over making noise at late hours which was most disturbing...Hence ,it was difficult to open the windows due to people sitting outside etc. This room which is good location but its disappointing having such next to your room immediate for peace of mind, this is not ideal. You have to be cautious when choosing a room due to this being unexpected.

Big and comfortable bed. Neat and clean environment with nice view in the balconh. Good equipment wow even the hair dryer that i could not even expect. Good room service. Nice breakfast and nice staff.

We phoned to ask for Wi-Fi password but during call we couldn't here clearly the password and the staff said she is going to send someone with password and we ended up not getting the password no one was sent. If possible can you please write password in the rooms

modern furnishings. alrho older and somewhat used appearance i really enjoyed the room.

it needs some smal maintenance, like the rood in bathroom had a leak before and was badly repaired. i cant turn off the bedside lamps, i had to unscrew the lightbulbs to sleep. when load shedding occurred the emergency backup lights came on at 2am for 2 hrs and i couldn’t sleep and there was no way turn it off. when i told reception they said they cant so anything about it and that all the rooms has the same issue.

Tamara the waitress at the lounge area was simply amazing she is so warm friendly professional and kept on checking up on us her service is world class she definetly needs a promotion and Rajen as well went out of his way to assist us with the dining menu and delivered food to our room he made us feel so special and the food was amazing after a long day you have no idea how good that made my husband and I feel ...I.will book coastlands again simply because of the service of these two staff members and I will also recommend any family or friends visiting durban to book coastlands musgrave simply because these two staff members went out of their way to treat us like royalty which I would like others to experience it just made our stay feel like we were in a 5 star hotel so Thank you Tamara and Rajen

Nothing as Rajendra and Tamara made our stay a very memorable one with their service .

Everything except reception staff and restuarant staff

Reception staff for some reason were under.the impression that i didnt pay for my staff instead of enquiring with the guy i made payment to they sent a guy with a speed point in my room woke us up. At the restuarant 315 the waitress was very unfriendly even her body language showed she wasnt keen on helping us threw the menus at us never even offer us something to drink made.us where she wanted us to sit not where we were comfortable to sit . My fiance actually works for the company that does reviewa on companies secret shopper and or customer luckily she was not on duty better yet she wasnt there for that.
