The Staff was at any time just fantastic. I like the food quality of the breakfast. One thing about the cleaning I like most is - as long as I don't put the towels on the floor, they where not exchanged, same for the soap, as long as I keep it, it was not replaced, well, there was a new soap avalible, but it was on me to use it. I like this very much - because this is not only convinient for me, it is also economy friendly. I can just say: Thank you, and hopefully we will see us soon again.

The bad weather during the weekends. (Sorry, this is anything bad I could remember :-)

Excellent location close to lots of good restaurants and bars. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast includes lots of delicious choices. The staff members are very professional and friendly. At our arrival, the front desk was too busy with a group of tourists, so we went to the bar to have a drink while we waited. A few minutes later, the manager came to us to pick up our passports and complete our check in while we enjoyed our drink. This was very nice considering that we did not tell or asked anyone to do so. Also, special mention to the security staff and in particular Mr. Sibongiseni who does a fantastic job making sure all is in good order.

Nothing to dislike

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The facilities were good. The hotel was located in a prime spot. We never used our vehicle the entire time as we found everything within walking distance.

While the majority of the staff were exceptional and very helpful and friendly, there were about 2 incidents where we felt that the staff were rude and offish with us, which was a bit upsetting considering that we enjoyed most of our stay. I won't mention names, but they were both female. The first incident was on Monday afternoon at around 1h30 to 2pm when we were being served at the bar, and the second incident happened on Tuesday morning at breakfast. Otherwise, I couldn't fault the rest of our encounters with the staff. It was just these 2 incidents that I have to mention in the hope that all staff can work at the same friendly and helpful level.

The breakfast was exceptional, the staff was amazing . They were always available to assist. The food was great. Really enjoyed my omelet.i will definitely recommend the hotel to my friends ad family. The reception staff were available at all times with their beautiful smiles and went an extra mile for us. My family couldn't stop talking about the place on our way back home. Thanks to the barman(didn't get his name) as my son misplaced his phone and they found it and kept it safe. Amazing staff from the security at the entrance and reception laddies, the cleaning team and the kitchen staff. Actually everyone. Thank you so much

the generators in the hotel , hotel room was very comfortable with a great view of the ocean

I made a booking via booking.com and when i made a booking they they did show me a room with a tub and thats the reason i booked it . also did follow ups with hotel directly stating that i wanted a high floor for great views with a tub . on arrival they advised that there was no room available with tub . eventually they had given me a room with a tub [rather small] also the pool is really small , this needs to be upgraded any way overall it was a great stay .

We left the hotel room at 8 got back at 3 n our room was not cleaned. They started that we are supposed to tell them. That's the first tym I every heard that. Everything in the room was 2 not 4 had to ask. Personally I think when u do an online booking is different service. We were on the 9th floor alone most of the rooms was under renovation. I had the same problem when I booked online the ppl there said it's because we booked online. Too noisy area.

I liked the friendliness of the rest of the staff and their prompt response in meeting my needs, the cleanliness of the hotel, the buffet breakfast. My boys enjoyed the swimming pool as well as the gym.

I did not like it when the housekeeper or cleaner did not change the papers that were used to put the glasses on. I wished she could have provided us washed glasses not rinsed glasses.

The rooms are spacious and stunning. I really love this hotel, the bar is amazing, not to mention the location, right in the middle of everything. I always book here every time I'm in Umhlanga, the hotel is nice and clean.

Nothing, it has met all my expectations and more. I only was worried on arrival because there was no place for us to park in order for us to go and check in as in front of the hotel it was s full. I like the fact that after check in we were able to get parking at the back.

Very friendly lady at check-in who kindly assisted us to check in early as we flew in from Gauteng and needed to get ready for a function that started well before normal check-in time. Clean and neat facility. Central to all restaurants and a good walk to the beach front.

Only issue - it was the SA vs Argentina Rugby match, and we were informed the hotel did not have the relevant channel available, so I did not understand that. Considering the beautiful lounge/bar area, that would have been awesome. Hotel possibly also lost out on sales since the match was not showing.

Good location, well appointed rooms.

The cups and drinking glasses were just put back into use without being washed. Aircon not functioning properly after loadshedding. Rooms only cleaned very late afternoons. Soap dispenser empty and not refilled until requested to do so. Housekeeping cleaning the room in bits and pieces, coming back into the room numerous times each day instead of just coming in once to get the job done.
