Everything was perfect. Great service from the incredible porter, Njabul, to the efficient reception staff (Indian lady and Stha), we were most impressed.The breakfast buffet was 5 star and the restaurant staff especially Godfrey were amazing! The rooms were spotless and fresh. Excellent location for all types of cuisine and we felt very safe walking along the promenade at 6am and walking back from dinner across the hotel at the Oceans Mall. Thanks for one of our best stays in Durban,South Africa.

Nothing for us personally but our elderly family would have been more comfortable with a better wheelchair and handlebars in the bathroom and shower.

Room was very clean and had everything we needed. Excellent location with nice vibey restaurants around, and that you can just take a walk to the beach is exceptional. The view was beautiful had a city view though and still wish i had a sea view with balcony room but unfortunately they were already fully booked by the time i wanted to upgrade. Lastly the hotel has amazing staff wow those people are so helpful, friendly and very welcoming, from the time we arrived got a very warm welcome and treatment to mention a few that i remember Terrence, Ayanda, Mark, Nomcebo and this other guy from dining area where we were having a delicious breakfast in a beautiful pool and sea view all the staff had a pleasant welcome there.

Fabulous location - just quite noisy especially on the Friday night when everyone was clearly out having fun at the mall across the road. Great facilities - though the bathroom is really small and the shower pressure very low. The staff were all WONDERFUL! We would stay there again. Princess :) at reception arranged a later checkout which was very convenient.

More spacious bathroom definitely would have been appreciated. Rug on the floor and a small couch would be better than the single chair the apartment has. (Bed, linen and towels all really GREAT!)

Everything! This is the second time we have visited and both times were wonderful. The bed was so comfortable, I did not want to leave...

We went to sit by the pool at some stage and got asked for our room number by 3 different people which made me feel like we were being "checked on" that we were residents of the hotel...

The room was exceptional, the view was very beautiful. The room was very clean and offered everything that a person would want.

I liked everything about it, there was nothing that I didn't like.

Reception people very helpful after I complain about my booking as it was sea view, and we wher placed on the partial sea view. They manage to change us to the very superb room. We'll done to the reception

I booked for 4 people and I ask them about the 4years child they said it's free. But on the very last day 22nd Jan dinner they charge me R275 extra money for the child dinner I had to pop up money that I didn't budget, because I booked for rooms, breakfast and dinner.

Comfy minimalist room Location fabulous View - breathtaking Would definitely recommend your hotel and will certainly be back!

A slight challenge to book the apartment through the Pearls itself. Initially booked through Booking.com which we weren't happy about but eventually got through to reservations and was sorted promptly

Staff excellent and friendly at reception. Victor, our porter outstanding. Assistance with a medical emergency outstanding.

Not nearly enough recliners at swimming pool No one to assist with cushions and umbrella. This was extremely poor. Cake special one day, cake not up to standard Hamburger special one day, patties were raw. Buffet breakfast not up to standard.

The hotel is amazing, very good for family the food was soo great

Check in was really unexpected, I requested to check in at 11 but only checked in at 15h00 had to wait from 11 to 15h00. Was told the room is not ready… while waiting I could see people getting to their rooms receiving their welcome drinks on arrivals, wen I did not until 15h00..

The staff welcomed us with friendly smiles and went our of their way to get our room ready early. After having just enjoyed a cruise on MSC, this hotel was the perfect place to relax. We were able to pop down to the shops for a few groceries, walk along the beach and a block away we enjoyed a very romantic dinner!
