It is a great location for travelers with a connecting flight early the next day. The hotel is connected to the airport via a safe and convenient corridor (you can walk all the way to the hotel lift with your baggage trolley).

Proximity to the airport - we booked in as we were due to fly to our home country on the same day as the proposed ‘National shutdown’ and were nervous travel to the airport on that day. Room was very comfortable and it was wonderful to step out of the lift and into the airport.

It would have been lovely to have a small fridge in the room.

Location of this hotel is what makes it so great. Comfortable beds, clean room with all needed amenities. The reception team were all very friendly and assisted us with big warm smiles. The houeskeeping lady we passed in the corridor were as friendly as her front of house colleagues. The porters also helped with our luggage to get it from the car park elevator to the hotel and assisted again on our departure to help find us a trolley so that we could walk to the terminal for our flight check-in. We happened to bump into the hotel manager (didn't know at the time) and he was as friendly as the rest of his team.

I can't fault anything.

The hotel is in an excellent position and there is a walkway that leads directly from the airport to hotel. Although it is very busy at all times, the staff were efficient and the breakfast was very good as was the evening meal.

Checking in was not quick due to the number of people waiting. You have to sometimes wait a while for the lift which goes to the airport terminal as it is very busy in the morning. There were almost no toiletries in my room so I couldn't wash my hair or have a bath.

The room was comfortable, private and quiet. Staff are your best asset!! Genuine, helpful and truly there to help!

I felt the aircon was not warm, I was cold for some time when I went to bed! Extra blankets were provided thankfully. I could not change the TV from soccer! Look these are really petty issues which were affected by most probably me unable to use the remotes! I really had a good rest and next time I’ll ask for help!

- The location is ideal after arriving from a late flight or departure early morning. You can walk in 5min to the terminal or rental cars desks. - Good breakfast and wide variety. It's R 190,- per person and there is fruit, salad, yoghurt & cereals, croissants & other pastries, pancakes, omelet and other warm items.

- The air vent in the bathroom is continuously on creating a cold air flow and noise. We kept the door closed and put the heater on. But it would be nice if you could turn it off yourself instead of centrally controlled. - The double bed is a bit small for 2. Maybe you're better off with 2 seperate beds together.

Good hotel, very close to airport. You just need to use the indoor 'tunnel' to reach the airport and rental cars. Most safe way to stay close to the airport or desks of rental cars. Not cheap by South African standards but safe and close to airport. Hotel looks luxurious. Space enough in restaurant, you can eat buffet or à la carte (in evening). Very convenient to stay here. We used it as a dayroom for our very late flight. Rooms are standard, all you need. Bathroom is spacious. Staff at reception is friendly but you feel you are one of the many, many guests (feels a bit impersonal). They have a scale in the lobby to weigh your luggage (and repackage if necessary), very helpfull. Quality restaurant is good. Great, safe place to start or finish your holiday.

Our neigbourh was talking very loud and constantly in his phone (?). So our powernap (becaus of the nightflight) was not good. Bit noisy inbetween rooms and in hallways! We stayed at ground floor. For guests who arrive: more signage in arrival hall to reach the hotel would be helpfull. Signage now starts near rental car desks.

We had to pay for parking to visit the hotel! With no alternative parking available, one would expect parking to be included. Our keycards were deactivated after the 1st night's stay. When we returned to the hotel (tired after a long day) we had to walk all the way back to reception and had to wait in the long queue only for our keycards to be reactivated. Not impressed. We visit regularly - I note that the baths were removed. The elevator from the airport side still don't go up to the hotel, even though there is a door for the hotel elevator. One still has to use the cargo elevator to go up a floor to take the hotel elevator further up. This is silly.

The hotel is located within OR Tambo airport. You can walk to the lobby from airport arrivals without leaving the building (about 10+ minutes). Staff is friendly and the restaurant provides good meals at a reasonable price. It's a great place for "overnight stopovers" while waiting for an ongoing flight. This is not a upscale hotel, rather it is a very convenient and comfortable place for a short stay and provides good value. We have stayed for 6 times and will stay again.

Some of the rooms are a little tired, but still comfortable. Some rooms have been more recently renovated.

Since I was travelling to South Africa and my first connection flight was badly delayed, I could not reach the hotel at my initially booked time. I contacted the property using the online contact option through BOOKING.com, and asked to reschedule. I was very grateful and appreciative to reach the hotel and to find that my booking was moved one day ahead without any problems. The hotel staff are friendly, the location is perfect for layover flights and is easily accessible. The small condiments like coffee, milk and sugar were also appreciated, however, the quality and freshness thereof were not up to standard since the instant coffee had already expired. Nevertheless, this is not a reason to complain, but merely a notice to hotel staff that small things are also appreciated equally.

Nothing to complain about. No bad experience.
