The breakfast was more than enough with a variety of health options and in good portions. The location is very quite, safe, clean and very serene. The rooms are quite smaller but comfortable enough for good sleep

I was not aware there were alarm systems in the garden and walking late at night could trigger them. My friends I understood were up at dawn walking through the garden. A heads up next time would be great but apart that, we did love the peace and serenity your home did offer. A little cleaning of the pool would be nice.

Everything. From the moment we booked, contact was made with us by the host, and their flexibility was amazing. We were held up on the motorway and arrived later than we had planned. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was excellent and warm, and we had an amazing night's sleep! The furnishings were no expense spared. Exceptional quality from the towels to the bedding and furniture. A well equipped kitchenette with everything you could need. Breakfast outside on the private terrace was a surprise treat! The idyllic location with birds singing under the trees was the best breakfast ever! Fabulous, friendly, and relaxed hosts. They are definitely experts in hospitality.

The fact we were only there for 1 night! We will definitely come back and explore the area just so we can stay here longer!

The cottage was comfortable and included a terrace and braai (barbecue). The delicious breakfast was served on the terrace at the main guest houseand it was lovely to sit and watch the birds feeding at the same time. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff were efficient and a laundry service was also available. Whist we were away travelling it was possible to store our excess luggage at the guest house. A really great stay and good value for money.

Excellent property with great management, best location in Joburg around trees that you can feel like you are in an old forest. Good for short and long stay. WiFi is perfect, breakfast as well. Owner is fantastic and very good talker with great knowledge about the country and its history. It’s always a pleasure to be in such places. It is also a very good monetary deal.

Beautiful home and gardens. Breakfast was fantastic and enjoyed eating on the patio watching the birds in the lush garden. Secure, feels like a retreat in the middle of the city. Use Uber!! Stay away from taxis. Don't forget your adapters for electric outlets. Three round prongs in triangle form, one larger than the other two. Gina the housekeeper was fantastic!! And Kathy and Bob are fantastic knowledgeable hosts who go out of their way to make you feel comfortable.

Not much to say here. Joburg is a big city. Make sure you know where you are going, secure your items and travel with guides or with recommendations of trusted locals.

The breakfast was superb. I loved the fruit salad and breakfast in the garden. The stuff was very friendly and Lis you’re special. The kids loved her.

For a longer stay, the options on breakfast can be better

We've been here before a couple of times and were very happy to go back again. It's a very well located establishment, set in a tranquil park-like large garden with beautiful swimming pool. The owners are a delightful couple and Gina, who cooks and makes sure your room is spick and span, is wonderfully friendly and happy. Birds of all descriptions flock to the feeders in the large tree just beyond the patio and keep you entranced as you enjoy your substantial breakfast. Highly recommended.

What's not to like? We feel very much at home and at ease here. If I was forced to complain about something I suppose I'd have to mention that there was no air conditioner in our room, although there was a fan. This wasn't a problem for us even though we were there in the height of summer and were extremely comfortable.

Our host was fantastic and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. The guest house and gardens were lovely. Breakfast was great and we felt very welcomed even with rather strict dietary requirements (one in our family is coeliac)

We were traveling with a big family (2 adults and 3 kids) and with a lot of luggage and the rooms we a little too tight for us. The stay was short (only overnight) so perfectly manageable.

The rooms were very comfortable, the bathroom great and the gardens fantastic. The owners are wonderful hosts and the breakfast delicious. We won't stay anywhere else if we need to be in the area.

Gorgeous location in the heart of Bryanston. Stunning gardens, bird life and overall facilities. Super friendly and welcoming hosts with the best breakfast service and great laundry service available too. Highly recommend!
