The place looks superb! The swimming pool is big enough and its a good spot to also chill at. The restaurant offers a good selection of the menu. The entire place just had a relaxing, nature, welcoming mood which I loved!

The Wi-Fi was really slow. We couldn’t stream anything on YouTube or Netflix without it buffering every 30 seconds.

The hotel's setting in a mountainous valley is outstanding, offering delightfully cool ambient temperatures. The beds are incredibly comfortable and inviting, with the linen being refreshed daily, which is a lovely touch. Additionally, the food portions are not only generous but also delicious, making every meal a satisfying experience.

To improve the experience for everyone, it would be greatly appreciated if there could be clearer communication about the requirement for a gate pass by security each time one exits the property. It can be quite frustrating when this is unexpected. Enhancing the communication and providing more detailed explanations regarding the security procedures would be very helpful.

The property was exceptional from the spacious room with a balcony to the restaurant food we ordered, and the staff onsite was so friendly and helpful. The area is so near to 1961 Hendrik Verwoerd tunnels. It's a great place for pictures 📸. The property garden is beautiful, with a few garden umbrellas and a clean pool with a perfect temperature. From our room, we could see the garden, pool, and majestic mountains on the other side of N1, where sometimes we could see clouds passing through right on the mountain. I would definitely recommend the place if you're looking for quiet, beautiful, and surrounded by nature. If I am passing through Venda, I will definitely stay there again.

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! I liked everything but what really stood out for me was one of the cleaners that cleaned my room. You have a gem in Manisha! She is really more worth than just a cleaner. I can actually see her as someone in charge! She made my stay extra special!

I did not like the manager's abrupt manner( the white guy that was on duty) When I called for him he was shouting to one of the waiters that he is busy and she must help me so loud down the corridor. I confronted him about it and he simply said sorry I was busy with spread sheets. Thought it was rude and callous. You can give more options on your menu as well please but other than that loved it and will be back

Its was beautiful… my kids loved the massive lawns. The newer rooms we stayed also looked very nice

The only issue I had was with the shower in room 503.. That shower head is finished and needs to changed. The water sprays everywhere and since there’s no door the bathroom floor gets wet.. worried about my small kids slipping .. we ended up throwing a few towels on the floor in the shower

It was in a serene and quiet location that allowed us to recharge and enjoy ourselves. The pool was a great experience even though it was overcast, the pool wasn’t that cold and loved that it was clean. loadshedding was an inconvenience especially with having to make payments, but in overall we enjoyed our stay. The staff is so professional and helpful. The security ensured our safety even when we left the venue for few hours, reminded us to stay safe. I enjoyed the meals and been able to stay connected via Wi-Fi during load-shedding

The staff were super hospitable and very accommodating to our our needs and special requests like early check-in because we needed early access to our room to get dressed for the wedding. I also forgot my tie at home that was needed for the wedding that we attended, and they gladly helped and managed to lend me one of the staff members' ties. We stayed in the newly built section, and the rooms are beautiful, very clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was great, and we had an overall very good experience.

The receptionist gave us a wrong room from the one we booked for on the site. We had to come back and show them the room we booked. I thought it was a silly mistake he should check so that clients always get the room that they booked and paid for.

I stayed in 509, things were fantastic as always - the bed was comfortable, room super clean and spacious and the staff helpful and attentive. Generally a pristine and well kept hotel with easy access to the N1.

I don't like the Victorian mixers in the bathroom, it's very difficult to get the water temperature right.

Excellent rooms (Deluxe) with really comfortable bed, bedding and pillows. Really responsive staff and service

The location is a pro and con - it’s set in a gorgeous area but if you’ll be travelling to nearby town often, it can be an annoying drive (short but annoying)
